Where can I find 8-40 flat head machine screws

I stripped out some 6-48 scope mount holes and need to drill out and retap the next size. My sight mount has counter sunk holes so need the flat heads if possible. I’ve looked on 2 dozen websites and can’t find 8-40 flat head machine screws.
Here’s a picture of what one looks like:

A local Fastenal would have them too

Our local Fastenal has ceased sales and service to individuals. You must now have a commercial type account with them.

Wow, our Fastenal still sells to locals like me - at least it did a month ago. I just walked in, bought some bolts and walked out.

Sorry. I didn't realize this was an old thread and my suggestions were already mentioned.

Did have a thought, though. You could get some rod and make one. Would just need a die in the size you need, a torch, hammer and file to shape the head. Should be able to get a cutoff cheap from a metal dealer. They should be able to tell you how to heat treat it, too.
Or you could ask a locksmith if they have one. They work with tiny screws.
