Just wondering after all the info I have read. No one has said where it is manufactured.

They are made in China. I have to say for a Chinese product they are made very well. I really couldn't be happier with mine.

Ontario? For real? Dang my old stomping grounds where I grew up. I wonder where in Ontario there at.
Looked them up, I know exactly where there located. Only about 15 min from our old dairy.

The SPA M16 and the DAR Gen 2 sure look the same
Are they exactly alike,or are there differences?
Such as changes/improvements specified by DAR during production at SPA, or modifications made by DAR after import
How doe the DAR Gen 2 fit into this picture, noting that the M16 has no Gen # attached?
As a potential buyer I am very curious.

After looking at the Artemis for a while, I only see similarities. But I don't see any part on my DAR Gen 2 that is the exact same as on the Artemis.
The Artemis has a barrel band but its not the same.
It's receiver and cocking lever are different.
The stock is different.
The trigger is different
The mag is different.
I'm not saying it wasn't made by SPA as I really don't know what factory it was made in.
I just know that appearance wise they are not the same guns.

I have a Dar 22 and I like the Dar a lot, gun does not feel like a 300.00 dollar pcp , but I only had it a couple months, still holds air any taking squirrels at 50 + yards. I have seen on GTA site that SPA does not make the DAR.

I agree. I'm so happy with my DAR. It shoots so well.. I just did a side by side comparison with my Benji Akela and the DAR is SO much more accurate. My DAR I get 1/4"-1/2" groups at 35 yards and my Akela gets between 1/2"-1" groups at 35 yards. I'm thinking about selling the Akela and getting another DAR. Also the customer service from DAR has been better by quite a bit compared to the CS I got from Crosman/Benjamin.

My friend recently just got into pcps and asked me for my input for the best low end starter pcp. After much research I recommended to him the dar .22. He doesn’t want to tinker just load and shoot. So far he loves the gun and like b.guns. said it is a tack driver at 35 yards. It’s pellet picky and it developed a leak when he got it. However, also like b.guns. said the cs is outstanding and he was able to drive to the Ontario distribution center and got it fixed in 20 mins. We live less than 30 mins away so it wasn’t much of a hassle. Outside of that he’s impressed by how nice the gun was for the price. All the other options come in plastic stocks and he likes the fact that it is wood.

They need to improve there website and get part for the Gen 2. I am looking forward to the gen 3
