Where are the DAR rifles manufactured?

I don't think anyone really knows yet Ed. Totally happy with mine. Its a tac driver with 16 grain jsb. Regulator functions great. One thing I wish they would improve upon is the trigger. Im a bit of a snob when it comes to them. But very acceptable with a little work and for the price point. If you need to know anything about the "innards" let me know. Have had mine tore down several times tweaking it the way I want.

I know its an old post but for posterity sake, the DAR are Chinese built by Xisico and rebranded for the reseller. The DAR Gen 3 is 90% the same, same stock, same shroud, baffles, and receiver but has a new trigger group, the barrel has about a 0.003" choke (.22 does for sure, just measured it) and some nice extras such as a built in 1/2" UNF moderator adapter on the shroud. The suicide gauge has been moved to the new plenum area and (FINALLY!) a picatinny rail has been milled into the receiver.

I just got done polishing the bore and crown and loading my mags with CPHP's, just waiting for a drop of Loctite to cure on the adapter as I like to remove the moderator (Buck Rail) to check any accuracy differences with/without the LDC present.

Good ole China 🇨🇳. Doesn’t mean it is bad it just usually comes at some compromise. Often from there it comes at the compromise of support. Good luck getting parts. Possibly durability as well. Who knows if these DARs and avengers will be chugging along in 5 to 10 years still. The daystates and fx most likely will. Lots of people have had avenger problems. I have gotten 2 good ones personally. At least so far. I mean one is only a year old and the other 3-4 months so time will tell. The DAR I had for a bit never was good.
