When the RedWolf meets Ducks

Hello AGN! just want to share some pics from last hunt.

RedWolf shooting 20.2 gn NSA slugs @ 950 fps, distances from 80 to 150 meters, this beans are great for the RW (ART Barrel)

and after about 6 hours of slow cooking! dang good!

That is just beautiful. Here in Florida we can only hunt ducks using steel or other non toxic shot. I’ll have to check and see if I can use my Impact.

I live in Chile, Near Santiago but in the countryside, close to Curacavi

Sadly tomorrow is the last day of the duck season ... so HELLO RABBITS! jaja

I so so so want to go to Chile, covid willing I will go next year. If I could hunt with an air rifle on the trip that would make it doubly amazing.

That would be amazing. Just out of curiosity. Does Chile have legal limits on the caliber your air rifles can be? I.e. do you need a permit for anything above say .25 caliber?

No limits on anything airgun related (so far)

So same as the USA and Netherlands, but you can hunt with an air rifle in USA and Chile, which you can not here for anything.

in USA, I believe will depend on the state for hunting with Airguns.

Yes, you are right. Idaho where I am originally from lets you hunt certain small and big game with air rifles, but game birds are off limits, i.e. pheasant and grouse (maybe) and all migratory waterfowl is federally controlled so I don’t think an air rifle can be used on say a duck along with a non-toxic projectile.

Isn't tin a ferrous metal ? Don't think they'll stick to a magnet. I believe they are a alloy of nickel and aluminum.

As stated all migratory waterfowl is federally controlled. NO Airgun Hunting of Migratory Waterfowl or Migratory Game Birds in the USA Currently!

Interesting, so is ok to use a shotgun for ducks, but not an airgun? Weird...

I think most of Europe is the same way. You can only use shotguns to hunt waterfowl.
