When the moon the stars the shooter and the ammo all align, magic...RW 177 @ 155

After shooting my red wolf late last night at long distance, I was pretty excited to see how conditions would be today. It happens I took the day off, and for the first three hours this morning it was absolutely perfect conditions.

I was shooting the red wolf 17730 foot pounds with Nielsen slugs, at 155 yards.

to say it was amazing would be an understatement. There are not that many firearms that can shoot groups like this. This had to be one of the best shooting days of my life.

With this ammo I figured I could shoot a 1 inch group at 155 yards. I shot two of them today, that’s mind boggling. And the reality is I had a chance at a couple groups that would’ve been much smaller, With a little luck on shot number five.

Anyways, check these two groups out.

Thanks guys, it was an absolute blast. This rifle, with this level of Projectile, is beyond anything I could’ve previously imagined. To get the kind of conditions I had today, on a day off...it’s hard to fathom.

I kept watching my shots snuggling next to the other ones absolutely in awe.

The Daystate electronic technology is fantastic.

Obviously you did some nice shooting in the video. That said, you’re shooting a 25 caliber at approximately 2/3 the distance I am shooting a 177.

And you’re telling me, that my groups are luck. I actually did a less than a 1 inch group twice on the same day and I posted some 10 shot groups also.

i’ll tell you what, beat my two groups, both under an inch, on the same day, in a 3 hour shooting session, with a 17 caliber air rifle, at 155 yds. I’ll send you a check for $1000 US.

Kind of insulting to put it mildly, to jump on someone else’s post and tell them that they’re shooting is luck.

YOU Put the fifth shot of a 155 yard group within 7/8 of an inch of all the others. At that point you will absolutely know that it’s not luck.

that said, I like to keep things positive. That’s how I live my life.

if you have a good positive input to add to a post of mine, have at it. Otherwise go TROLL someone else.

Here are 3 10 shot groups shot with a pellet gun, in 25 caliber, at 100 yards, in 2012. That’s almost 10 years ago, shooting an analog, unregulated pellet gun. Without 34 grain pellets, and supersonic speed’s.
