Well... consider me old then... (Uckuckuckuckuck! I am what I am and that's all what I am!)
I sometimes put out my target box late at night for the light winds and hopefully to not have a neighbor complain. (smile)
p.s.
Although I have flood lights in the backyard, they aren't strong enough to see the target well at ~27-35 yards (depending on MPBR zero), so I have an LED flashlight within a couple of feet of the target while I shoot.
Yup, most can shoot in the still. Most can't ( including me ) have a hard time in the wind. That's when you should practice and possible experiment with slugs.
Shot a bunch more paper targets this morning testing / comparing two different pellets and shooting them right out of the Tin vs Sized. I will need to do more testing and in better conditions to make any kind of a final decision to decide if “Sizing” the pellet actually improves on accuracy. This morning conditions: a cool 58 degrees, clear skies, wind variable 5 to 10 mph.
Target #1, I shot 10 rounds with JSB Monster 13.43 Sized with a total score of 93. Then 10 rounds JSB Monster Redesigned 13.43 Sized with a total score of 98.
Next on Target #2, First shot 10 rounds with JSB Monster 13.43 out of the Tin with a total score of 93. Then I shot 10 rounds with JSB Monster redesigned 13.43 out of the Tin with a total score of 98.
Only thing noticeable here is that the Redesigned does shoot better than the old original. However with that said, the rifle and scope have been tuned to shoot the Redesigned pellet so the results could be expected. I will wait for a no wind day and do a bit more comparing.
The original TTS Pellet Sizers available here! Our NEW AND IMPROVED sizers are machined in the UK using high grade Stainless Steel, they will not tarnish, they have less thermal expansion than brass for exact sizing regardless of ambient temperature, and they are so strong they are suitable for...

Ezana....sorry for his late reply! Many sizes to choose from but they look to be out of stock on many sizes for now but they do make more! You can also contact them...
This is a follow up on the use / advantage or disadvantage of "Re-Sizing" / "Sizing" of pellets right out of the Tin. Bottom line is I really cannot find any improvement in the accuracy of the pellets that I am testing, which are the JSB MRD 13.43. I now have shot a full Tin and about a half of a second Tin in a lot of side by side testing. Factor in the human element ( that would be me ) and on one 50-Yard MOA target the "Sized" pellet would only be 3-5 points better. Then shoot another target using the "right out of the Tin" pellets and it would be 3-5 points better. However I most likely will still "Size" some pellets when shooting at a competition target.
Hope this information will be of some use. ThomasT
