What's your thoughts on AEA airguns? Are they hype or legit?

Would really like to know where your getting your info from because as far as I knew AEA never has been made anywhere but China, maybe they had a distributor in Spain?
No. They are made in SPAIN.

ya I already saw that, do you believe everything you see on the internet? especially from wikipedia lol
Only unless they moved their facilities...which companies do from time to time. This information was the last information I received and confirmed it with the highly respected AirgunRevisions.com owner Rich Dudek. If they moved recently this information I do not know.

Just Checked with AEA USA and they confirmed they are still part of Wolfiek Group which is in SPAIN and their warehouse and everything else is in Spain.

according to that they are a retailer/warehouse, not the manufacture which anyone that has been in this hobby for a long time already know that AEA is made in china

Hello, im new here and too pcp rifles.
I just bought my first one and its a AEA 30 Bullpup 24".
Any ideas on where to start with basic tuning?
Im going to put some pellets through it today with the crony and see what I can do
Aea stuff I'd basically just tune it down from full blast over a chrono. There's not much tuning available or needed. They just punch way above their weight and often beat themselves up. So i turned mine aea model down till it had nice manners for the entire shot cycle.

I have a 30 with 32" barrel, im not sure if 24" is the same but mine likes zan 303 slugs, with the 24" barrel I'd maybe try 50 grain.
If you have the aea regulator, take it off and junk it or do like i did, gut it then bore it and use it for extra air, you can also just gut it to use for air but boring it takes a little weight out. The regulators are junk, you will eventually have issues, I have 3.
My number one hack I've done to all 3 guns is making .100 inch thick washers at work and putting in the valve spring retaining cap, this puts more pressure on the valve and keeps shots much more consistent and more per fill in unregulated guns, I have went through lots of ammo to find what works on max power and leave it there but if you want to shoot a variety you might need to play with the power wheel and possibly fill pressure if your unregulated. I noticed certain pressure ranges in two of mine that worked better before putting the thick washer in valve cap now I fill to 3600 max power the whole way, my 30 with 32 is a different beast, heavy hammer spring with valve cap washer, 4500 ,max power ,60 grain 303 slugs. Aea has been a bit of a pain to find what works the best and if you break anything you might as well buy another and have a parts gun or have access to a machine shop.

Well this will be fun! When I shoot it today I'll post the crony info and then chuck up some metal and make some of those spacers! Thanks for the info.
Im going for slugs, waiting for them, at the moment I have some jsb pellets for today.
How many of those spacers would you recommend starting with?
Just 1 or a total of .100 inch, any more than that and you might not even get the cap back on, my 30 with 32 already has a firm spring so it was a challenge but im guessing yours is going to be like the other standard challlengers and a bit more manageable.

Will do!
All I have is a budget scope on it for now so that will be changed out soon as well.
Im hoping to get this thing pretty accurate out to 200 yards

Ideally a firmer valve spring would probably be better but i gave up looking for them so I just tried the spacer and it works pretty well. I originally got the idea from Hill airgun because I also have a marauder and ordered his matched parts kit, its a heavy hammer spring, heavier valve spring and a larger transfer port and in a unregulated gun it just works so good, I thought, this is exactly what the AEA guns need.
