Do you think that attaching a hamster to the Prosport cocking lever would weaken it.

Yeah, nice gun. I think if I was modding a gun like that in such a way, I would go all the way and install or modify something to secure the lever fairly strong in place. Maybe a pin with a spring action button? Or something like that.

Yes. Worse yet on that FT gun, I think it would complicate the already complicated spring-piston field-target "What the hell happened?" puzzle.

Depending on your budget you can get a Custom Stock CS1000 FT stock. They sell on ebay and have a fitment for the Pro Sport. They are the only ones I know of who make a dedicated FT stock for the Pro Sport. This also gets you the adjustable cheek piece. You can sell your factory stock and recover some of the cost.

That's beautiful but I like the look of the one I posted a bit more. It keeps the "Prosport look". But there's nothing wrong with the later

If you're able to clamp onto the lever without drilling any holes it won't weaken it one bit.

I would see if there was a spare cocking lever available, purchase it, then modify it with the hamster to see if it works or breaks.
