What's your most naturally (stock, as-is) COMFORTABLE gun?

Thought I'd throw this out there. With all the different variants, models & materials available to us now I was curious about the comfort-of-hold aspect that any particular gun has for you. After being totally consumed by airguns for the last 6 years I've gotten to try & own MANY. For me, it has to be my pepper laminate FX Boss. I seem to meld with that gun like no other. The contours of the stock fit me like a glove & as soon as I put my cheek to it I feel as though it's part of me. No need to adjust my eye for sight relief or shifting of shoulder to get it right. NONE of the tactical style guns I've tried comes anywhere close to the classic style & wood stock for comfort & natural feel. I'm not talking precision or accuracy here, just downright COMFORT of a PERFECTLY FITTING gun. How bout you? Which one "does it" for you & why?

Mine would be the basic HW95 shooting iron sights. Once a scope is added that's hard to say. Just stock nothing really fits quite right so I make some sort of mod/adaptation to the gun or mounts for the optic.

I do like the ergos on the Royale line of rifles but as you know I modified my cheek for a better fit for me. If I didn't have clearance issues using the magazine under the scope I could use low mounts and that would be much better than the high mounts I now use. I'm sure head size and face shape have some to do with how a gun feels when shouldered.

Hands down the most comfy easiest to shoot gun I own. And I own a lot. That monster tank of a scope is no longer on it. Something more sensible took its place. Zbroia.

No question; be it from bench-rest, FT position or standing off-hand, my .177 Daystate Wolverine-

For instance, although I had a bad day at Saturday's FT match otherwise, I cleaned the (four shot) knelling lane... standing OFFHAND, because I can no longer get into the kneeling position.

Rifle fit is obviously totally subjective, as we each have unique measurements and stock requirements. This seems most appropriate for position shooting, where the stock fit is critical to a comfortable cheek weld and consistency of shot release. My HW100 laminate carbine might be my best fit, with the adjustable comb an important factor, and the same can be said of my Red Wolf. The Royale 400, while not adjustable, is luckily a very good fit for me.

I am going to break ranks here.
I have an FX Crown MKII and I like it, but the danger length gets to me for hunting. Even the 600mm barrel on it seems too long. Maybe I will trade that for a 500 or 380 and see what that does.
I hate to be the only, but my M3 600mm in 22 fits me like a glove. I know it is heavy and I know it lacks the traditional rifle style platform and I know others complain about the balance but for me it fits perfect.
I should note that it gets very little bench time and spends it’s slinging time being shot off a bipod prone with my hand as the only rest for the butt of the gun.

Oh no, I’ve seen this happen before in the under $600 gun topic. It became a beauty pageant. Crowski, AirnGasman, Wolfmangreg, Alan, Charlie and Greenarrow, I think I could spend all day comfortably shooting your rifles. Very nice. I have a bunch of M3’s, RTI and others that are not uncomfortable. But they are more utility comfortable. Not cozy comfortable.

GERRY, I hole hardly agree with you. When I shoulder a tactical style gun it kinda leaves me cold no matter how well they shoot.

Daystate Regal & Compatto were so easy to shoulder. My RAW took me more time to get really comfortable with even being more adjustable, maybe it is the length but now it is second nature since fine tuning the fit.

This thread proves to me why the Bullpups are uncomfortable and not seen in this thread, the closer to a real firearm rife style proves it self over 400 years in use
