#2 is more my flavor. I personally don't like the looks of bottle guns and the forward weight of them. Shot count may be lower but I can always shoot them tethered. I would run a bag rider though.

Katran is one of the best choices in airgunning at the moment. I have recommended them to people many times. Great value! You can count on those guns for accuracy.

None of the above....I think. I would prefer the short one with a tube. Out of all the Non-FX guns the Katran C is probably most tempting to me.

Number 2 first, number 1 second, no way would I consider the other two. IMO just too fugly with that bottle hanging off the end waaaayy out there.

I don't know about the Katran triggers, but the Caiman (Airmaks) and Caiman X triggers are right up there on the top with the best. And yes, I now have a Taipan Veteran (that many think is the proverbial...top of the heap) to compare it to..! The Caiman trigger is actually very similar to the Taipan, just laid over on its end. Not quite as adjustable, but the design is such that it has what it may need.

I'd assume that the Katran triggers are similar.

Does anyone know if you can swap the tube for a bottle or vice versa without making a mess of these? It would be amazing to have one rifle that gives you either option.

I decided to give up a few shots and went with the sleek & compact tube gun! 

That's a looker for sure. The tube streamlines the rifle and fits the m4 platform. Good shot string. I would guess the size of yours is the # 1 size from the post

What's the weight w/tube

did the swap change / affect accuracy 

does it fill from a foster fitting at the end or fill probe
