That depends on the drag model, BC, and distance that you are shooting. For shorter distances, you are correct, but for most any airgun slugs, once you get out to 500 or 600yds, a muzzle velocity of 1000fps will have less wind drift than at 950fps.Wind drift is higher once you get past 950fps…. I also have found that the G7 model works really well for me haha. But beyond that I agree with you fully.
When shooting at 200+yds, with an RA4 BC of .120, as typical of a 22 rimfire, even 1060fps will give a little less wind drift than at 950fps.
