What's Up with Pyramid Air

Yup. I really liked how well Trenier packed my order, the good prices, and how quick it came. This even though there was a good variety of items. Would have taken many weeks from Pyramid. The only reason I put my latest order in at Pyramid is because they carry the Predator polymags that for some reason Trenier doesn't, even though Trenier does carry the non-lead version of the Predators. But I just wound up ordering the Polymags from Airguns of Arizona instead. I'd rather eat the shipping cost than wait another month on my order.

I get my pellets from Trenier Outdoors. He is a small dealer, but his pricing is usually less and gets them shipped within a day.

+1 on Trenier Outdoors. he has been absolutely great to deal with. Ships promptly and if anything is ever off (only happened once) he is on it immediately and makes it right. Communicates even on weekends. He has become my go to guy for many things airguns!

Chris

I made an order from Trenier today! no ammo, but a scope, and it already shipped. That is fast!

this whole covid thing is BS. there would not be a shortage on anything if PEOPLE would stop hoarding!

stop buying more than you need people! cant blame the buisinesses.

yes but everyone need way more pellets than ever before thanks to “working” from home! I’ve gone through over 1000 pellets this week compared to 0 this week last year.

dont get me started on working from home. why do you have more time working from home?

Working 8 hour shifts at the job site consumed ~11 hours of my day, between getting ready for work, the commute, parking and the nearly 9 hours on the job. I can get-off quite a few rounds of pellets in 3 hours.

👍

gotcha.

i’m talking about many others that are taking advantage of the situation and “claim” they feel safer at home. these are also the ones who dont do squat when they are at work. so they really beleive they think people think they are working hard at home?😂

dont get me wrong. your situation sounds legit if you are shooting during your commute time.keep shootin’

I have items on backorder from Pyramid. Ordered a Dan Wesson 715 clone in August to get some revolver trigger time. Now it's backordered to January. Now I don't care I'll wait. Getting cooler here in Pa now, CO2 can wait.

Was really hoping to start training the granddaughters on a revolver. They did however have a blast with the 1911 clone. My kid(single father, mother totally out of the picture) told his two girls that they will learn to shoot. Well and safely. And they will have firearms in their future. Because he or a cop can't fit in their back pockets.

Fortunately, not only are they good, but they also enjoy it.

Of the last two orders I have made through Pyramid Air, one shipped the same day, the other shipped the following day. With all things considered, I am very happy with that quick turn around.

Then they have gotten more speedy. A few months ago, I ordered an air pistol from them, and it took three weeks for them to ship it, virus and all.

I have never had any issues with PA in the past. I have noticed that as of resent that there are a ton of out of stock/back order items. I think its just related to all the crap going on in the world with covid right now. PA seemed to be the favored place to get pellets due to their buy 3 get the 4th free and their amazing packing. They are very reliable and I can understand why so many shop their. I think that the other places tend to be stocked better partly because of the amount of sails traffic compared to PA.

PA has been great. The reason they may be out of stock of a few types of ammo is because people have been shooting A LOT MORE with this covid19. Great past time during a pandemic. Many retailers are reporting more ammo sales than usual. PA packs ammo great, ships quick, buy 3 geto 1 for free, and has award points. It's hard for to beat them.

👌!

My experience with PA mirrors yours, David. Also, my pellet orders arrive at my door within 3 days.

It's not just PA, it's everywhere. I scour the retailers almost daily just like I'm guessing a lot of you do and the Covid mess has manufacturers slowed, imports insanely slowed, every company trying to get whatever they can. Now add a several 100,000 airgunners all scrambling and searching daily for what they want and when things, namely pellets finally show up, those same several 100,000 airgunners are on a mad scramble to buy what they can and it's usually the same brand/style/weight everyone else wants if the out of stock notices are any indication. Random lame opinion is might better get used to it because I'm thinking it's not gonna let up for quite awhile to come.

I buy most of what I get these days from either Jeff at Trenier who's service goes beyond impeccable or AoA, who if you actually call to place your order will very nicely ship very well packaged in USPS flat rat shipping boxes to help try and save you money.

The other bonus for me is a lot of my shooting is .20 caliber (I have 8 .20 cal rifles) so quite easy to get what I might want since it's a caliber most look down on :)
