What's up with JSB pellets???

Anybody else been getting JSB pellets with mangled skirts? Got several new tins from PA. Tins are undamaged. First tin has had lots of bad pellets. I've probably tossed over 40 of them so far. Just went to open another tin and I see lots of bad ones in there as well. These are Exact Jumbo's 15.89gr

I posted about this very subject to maybe 2 months ago it seems the more popular JSb gets the looser control seems to be pyramid and airgun Depot do a great job packing their stuff the fins look great it's happening in the plant

Just went through a whole new tin, 500 pellets, and found 122 bad ones although just looking at the skirt ends, you could say that just about all of them are suspect. Here's a sample. This is ridiculous.

Sorry for your trouble outdoorman. When I had my .22 Sumatra I stopped buying the 15 grain ammo, I was losing 30%. The 18's where better but with that gun having a wheel for a magazine many would just drop through. Now that I went to .25 caliber I have had 5-6 bad skirts in several thousand. The are just more robust

Like 2D1C said - the 15.9's are the thinnest skirts of all their pellets. Go with the 18.1 or 14.3's depending on your guns power.

It seems possible this is damage that occurs during shipping and handling. Pellets are heavy, the skirts are soft, and there is room for them to jostle around.

My experience has shown that the 18.1gr. are more reliable and durable. Even though I prefer the 15.9's in 2 of my guns they are just too delicate to make the trip to my house. As others have said, about 20-30% of each tin has disfigured skirts. Some I can fix by shoving a Papermate clicker pen into the skirt and getting them "good enough" to shoot, but many are too far gone.

I had the same exact scenario happen to me a while ago. Give PA a call and they'll send you a new tin. 
This is one of the reasons I avoid the 15g's.

just started shooting my impact with a new .22 barrel. 
Bought 15's and 18's I was surprised to see all the bent skirts in the 15's 
18's not so bad just a few now and then but the 15's looked like a batch of seconds.
No more 15's for me

was surprisingly poor!!
Hi-tech rifles with low tech ammo. 
Been a powder shooter for years and this level of quality is not acceptable. 
cannot compete with inferior ammo. 
Can any body lead me to a quality pellet plse??
