That's Awesome YO.... but I find it more entertaining when you get shorted. You gave me good advice a few times. I appreciate you.

CMATERA.... I have read several of your posts and I am always interested in what you have to say.

So, I must add my 2 pennies to the hat. In the beginning Yo was making me crazy with all his posting. I as well looked up his post count and thought this is ridiculous. The exclamation point was even worse!

Then the first topic thrashing of him came up, and I read it to find out I feel stupid and what the hell is pissing me off.

Since I did some refection, I thought I too have wanted to say something on a thread, but didn't cause I didn't want to post off the hook. Why I don't know, just the way I felt at that place in time. I realized that if I have something to say, I can without being flamed.

With some attitude adjustment now I really enjoy "YO!". If I don't like your style I have the ability just like watching TV to turn the station. Just cause you are not my cup of tea doesn't mean it is not yours. An example I think we all can understand.

If you don't like guns don't buy one, but that dislike does not give you the right to take mine. If you don't like me, PM we like men can work it out.

I have noticed on other forums, it seems that anyone that is new and comes on strong with a very high post count in a very short time, runs the risk of YOism. That is, the risk of having someone making mention of the event, as happened here.

He seems to have a fair handle on our sport for someone who hasn't been heard from much before and he offers his opinion in a lot of areas. Many have thanked him for his help also, lets not forget that.

The more any individual posts, me included, the higher the risk of making a factual mistake, or sometimes even worse, a controversial statement that may or may not be total fact, but not all wrong either.

I notice that the YOster likes to YELL a lot and that can be disrupting to some people. At my age, it is easier to read 😈 👓

He also seems to have a lot of time on his hands and maybe he is retired. Oh wait, I am retired and have trouble finding time in the day to pee, so that can’t be it. View attachment 1590709860_7094010105ed04e640c3514.32253750.jpg

With the number of guns he claims to have had and are “on the way” he may simply independently wealthy, which we almost have to be to keep it alive in this sport. Heck, I spend more in pellets each year than I do on powder burner ammo.

When I open a thread, I often scroll down looking for the inevitable post from the YO. It has become a game. 😁

Not that it’s an excuse, but I think his buttons have been being pushed for a couple weeks. Reads like he finally snapped. Kind of understandable if you really enjoy a forum but keep getting kicked in the nuts every time they heal. I just try to keep things in perspective. This is a great place but my life does not revolve around it. Our opinions and personalities don’t have to align all the time but as adults, who can’t punch each other in the face, we try to keep it civil. We all get our buttons pushed from time to time. It’s how we react to it that speaks volumes about who you are and how much you value being on this forum.

Yep, there are people who have the courage to stand and argue directly with you if they do not like your opinion and there are people who do not. There are people who will form a small clique and circle one user like a school of sharks. One at a time swimming in and taking a little bite. They only attack en' masse' when they are comfortable that they will not be judged for baiting their prey. And then you see what you have seen here. They come out of the dark, cite the rules, and demand their pound of flesh. They have now identified themselves for anyone who cares to make a list and return the favor as they themselves have said they expect to be treated. They like the rules and cite them often in private while carefully probing them publicly always circling their prey... You know who they are now and you can thank Yo for that.

Meanwhile, I am sad to see that Yo gave in to the harassment. Michael was clearly correct in his assertion of the rules. He has always been a fair minded person and as we all know turn about is definitely fair play. xxxx shame to see it go down this way though, considering it is just an AG forum... and the drama really isn't necessary.

Alright I've heard quite enough for/against the member YO. Perhaps this person isn't new, maybe he was a former member that was driven off by topics just like this? We will never know unless he wants us too.

One reply by YO was flagged for clearly breaking this sites rules. The definition of profanity/cursing/swearing is an ever-changing debate. In many instances we will overlook a random word inserted into good dialogue, but we will not tolerate a topic/reply littered with insults.

Every person is a valuable member to Airgun Nation and the airgun community. No one is perfect (especially when their buttons get pushed). So lets give Mr. YO a break, embrace the experience & knowledge he has to share, and get back to airgunning.

Thanks

-Michael
