What's up at DonnyFL?

Anybody know what's happening at DonnyFL?

I went to their website to place an order earlier today and this is what comes up... I don't do "social media" and thought maybe someone or something would be known here?

Just thought it strange for the site to be down so long (still down as I post this)... Hope all is good for them.

It might be that their hosting company decided to interpret the terms unfairly / more stringently. - Weebly.com - They don't allow "weapons" to be sold on sites they host. A pretty broad term that could be twisted to include moderators.

From their TOS:

Illegal/Inappropriate Products: sites that offer or sell items that are illegal, weapons, counterfeit, stolen, fraudulent, infringing, violate rights of privacy/publicity, offensive, pornographic, or manufactured/intended to be weapons

It could be any number of other things as well. Unscheduled but required maintenance, database corruption, human error, etc. I maintain 5 different websites that all use PHP to run everything, and it is a bit unsettling how easy it is to crash one. Not to mention the sometimes hundreds of hacking attempts every day from Russia, China and more.

Update:

I just checked their Facebook and Instagram pages - Nothing on either one about the status of the website.

Thanks for checking into the "social media" to see if DonnyFL posted anything. My thoughts were running along the "Illegal/Inappropriate"... Let's hope that's not the case or "hackers". Just thought it was strange they're down this long if were just an "ooopsss" or maintenance.

Just got an e-mail saying 3 letter organization visited them yesterday and told them to stop making moderators. Supposedly, some firearms guys are saying folks are using them to put on PB's. Can't confirm this, but was relayed to me by folks who went to Donny's store yesterday
i had a feeling it was only a matter of time for "that" to happen.

From the Alphabet org website:

Are paintball and airgun sound suppressers considered NFA weapons?

The terms “firearm silencer” and “firearm muffler” mean any device for silencing, muffling, or diminishing the report of a portable firearm, including any combination of parts, designed or redesigned, and intended for use in assembling or fabricating a firearm silencer or firearm muffler, and any part intended only for use in such assembly or fabrication.
Numerous paintball and airgun silencers tested by Alphabet org’s Firearms Technology Branch have been determined to be firearm silencers by nature of their design and function. Because silencers are NFA weapons, an individual wishing to manufacture or transfer such a silencer must receive prior approval from Alphabet org and pay the required tax.

and here we go... the "definitions" will be rewritten to "fit" the agenda. just as they did with the definition of "vaccine".
