What's the best Depinger for the Bulldog?

You will probably hear a lot of theories, such as the bottle-brush method. All depingers break up the standing wave in the air tube, which causes the "ringing" heard when firing. I do not know how much "full monte" you want to go with your Bulldog (same place I am in). I noticed in my Marauder, putting a regulator in it totally de-pinged it. I suspect something similar would happen with the Bulldog. But then, a regulator takes up more space than the depinger. On the plus side, Pitbull/LakeRat has a higher volume air tube which he sells (and regulator too) for the Benjamin Bulldog. He also sells a porting service, which allows the Bulldog to achieve the same velocity (regulated), as a stock ported, unregulated Bulldog gets.

So... if you have the cash, you can get longer shot strings, more consistent velocity than you currently have, but, like all things airgun; you must open your wallet to achieve these goals.

I have heard Pittbull but it looks like it takes up a lot of airspace?

Anyone have one

I just put a Pitbull DePinger in my Bulldog and I’m happy with it for the cost, there still a real real light pinnnnnnngggg but nothing like it was, Will see how it is after a few hundred rounds.

Better pinnnnngggggg

Than

Twanggggggggg

Its a great gun but it has some of the loudest action I've ever witnessed

I think solid metal cylindrical depingers are best to use in a Benjamin Bulldog because they do not break up like plastic depingers can over time.

Veradium Air sent me a metal depinger a while back. I don't see them listed in his site. If interested in one of his, I recommend calling and asking if he sells them individually.

I bought one.
If you used a noise reduction device it helps with a high pitch sound the pressure change in the tube makes.
With no noise reduction device you never hear that high pitch sound

I removed mine when my pitbull mega moderator failed and never looked back.
As far as taking up air space......yes it does but it's nothing noticeable on shot count......but I also have the extended reservoir.
