What’s in your Rifle Case?

For case, I like the double rifle case

- Rifle goes in one side

- Extra cylinder, bloop tube, FL cleaning rod (for PB) goes in the other side

Ive the exact same case, only in black for my Bobcat

I just got one exactly like the one pictured above but holds only 1 single rifle.

BUTT

I bought it used on FB Marketplace off a guy. Perfect like new.

I was happy till I started driving home and noticed a moldy smell.

Dam he must have put this away wet or something. Nasty smell.

I tried airing it out for a few days and soaking it with Fabreze but not much better.

I don't know what else to do

Oh my.... that’s bad, maybe the foam inside is rotten.. I hope there’s a solution to stop that smelling!!

Have you tried putting through a washing cycle? (with some borax maybe) and letting dry in the sun.

I did not put it thru a wash machine for fear it will deform. I am going to use a carpet extractor on it this week. This deep cleans with water and detergent and then let it dry outside for a few days between Fabreze spraying.

I just bought a new case off flea bay, cost $150.00. It’s of Chinese origin which I’m not thrilled about but from a USA retailer. Plucked foam for two of my custom builds. Still room for mags, pellets etc. It’s heavy but has wheels. I likey.

1 tin of cleaned and lubed slugs

1 tin of clean and lubed pellets

1 leather sling (only when I go hunting)

All for my .30 cal. Impact

youre also lubeing, what are u using for lubeing?

Im using silicone spray.
