What's in your hunting pack???

"Ginuwine1969"So fellow Airgunners, when you hit the field for a day of GS, rabbits, or praire dog hunting what do you take with you in your hunting back pack???
Hunting is banned where I stay but a good guess would be the following:
1. A small scuba tank
2. Pellets
3. Knife
4. Gunny bags
5. Powerful torch
6. Hunting lights
7. Mini towels
8. Rope/bungee cord
9. Ballistic chart
10. Long range binoculars
11. Wind meter
12. Range finder
13. Adjustable length hunting sticks to rest my gun
14. Gloves, camo clothes, cap, shades, water bottle

I learned the hard way so the first thing is a "LIST" of the things to take on a hunting trip! I recently got 500 miles into a trip to my brother in Missouri and realized I left my Pellets on my workbench! This was a Hog hunting trip and unfortunately Wally World doesn't stock 357 pellets on their shelf. I ended up Next Day Airing some JSB .35 Diablos to my brother and they got there the day I arrived. Those were expensive pellets😥.
when I got back home I sat down and made my list.
PELLETS
Guns (charged)
Air Tank (charged)
Charging Hose
Cleaning Kit
Gun Tool Kit
Range Finder
Binoculars
Night Vision Scope
Camera w/scope mount
Appropriate Clothing
Flashlight and Batteries
Of course this will vary depending on the type and location of the hunting trip.

"Water,snacks,trash bags,knife,rope,lighter (...) "

Awesome. This is what each list should start with for when you go a significant distance away from civilization. Water, shelter, fire. And always a knife.

Take note: If you twist your ankle or if your vehicle conks out, "significant distance" is suddenly a lot fewer miles than you previously thought.

I have never been on a hunting "trip," but when I hit the woods for a few hours I take:
Two knives (one is none, two is one)
Water
Snacks (almost forgot that one!)
Hatchet
Dry tinder/fat wood
Para cord
Ferro rod and a lighter
Flashlight
Cell phone
Small tarp
Paper towels
Small cutting board
Plastic bags for trash, etc
Pellets
Gun (in the past always a springer, tho this year I have a Disco)
I don't have a "pony tank" yet, but don't take many shots, so the Disco should be good on one fill (I hope). If not, I'll bring the scuba tank and leave it in the car...I don't stray much more than a mile from it anyway.
Most of this in a backpack, or squirreled away in an upland vest.
