I looked on 910 Airguns and they no longer list Ernest Rowe CF Barrel shrouds for FX airguns. Does anyone know why? I was looking for a 500 mm shroud for my FX Dreamline Tac. Doe anyone else offer the shrouds?

Ernest is an employee of FX. Those CF sleeves etc are now sold by FX as accessories, sooooo, Ernest was likely told not to sell them through his own venue, even though he developed them.

Probably not profitable enough. Carbon fiber tubes from China have gone up in price a lot, they cornered the market now they are raising the price…..what happens when we outsource everything. I ordered 2 carbon fiber tubes of same thickness from China that cost over 25 bucks a pop after shipping so no way he can buy the tubes, machine them and then sell them at 35 dollars, he probably end up making 3 dollars an hour selling them.

couple people found them on ebay , about 10 days ago there was a thread on here i remember because the guy wanted a 500 or 600 mm and Earnest was all out of that size so he cut a 700 mm down for the gent PYRAMID @ HUMA have preorder ,, EARNEST should be back by now from the tournament pat

You can find the sleeves here FX Airguns STX Barrel Liners | Trenier (trenieroutdoors.com) on page 2. If longer just easy to cut it any size.

Huma-Air has many sizes in stock. I ordered the 700mm in .30 on Saturday and received it yesterday.

Thanks for all of the input, but what I'm looking for is the outer CF shroud that replaces the stock aluminum unit.

Is that even available yet? I've seen it used by the SA guys on YouTube, developed by Hein Fromann. They hint it might become an FX offering, but nothing confirmed.

The carbon fiber shroud sleeve will not fit M3. I wanted to order some and discussed with Ernest two months ago. He tried and showed me the shroud didn't fit well like MKII. Because of lower torlorence of M3 It can’t fit under scope rail.

Ernest still offer carbon fiber barrel tensioner and tension sleeve. I ordered two tensioners from him for both of my M3 compact and sniper. They are different size(shorter) vs the one on my MKII.
