What's going on with Daystate

Controlling yourself in this hobby....I couldn't and I'm glad I'm didn't, I've had my Wolverine R .177 standard for about a week now with a couple hundred pellets through it, I haven't done a lot of serious bench accuracy testing yet, letting everything get broken in, I did crony the three pellets I have, JSP 10.3's @ 900 SD 2, H&N Barracuda 10.6's @ 880 SD 2, CP 7.9'S 960 SD 3, across 10 shots, JSB's are best by a hair. Fit finish build quality of this rifle is "top shelf" and the quietest air gun I've ever had. I have a third hand Huntsman I traded for over a year ago that "educated" me on the qualities of Daystate, I would advise "get 'em while the gettins' good! BTW

you can upgrade to the Forestor stock for a hundred bucks....Woooooo!

Yep, I bought a Renegade a coupla weeks ago, while on sale (sale price as noted on the web page), Sorta wanted one for a while, but thought they were too highly priced. I thought, ok, now's a good time to get out my card. Then, the salesman took another $100 off the web page price while we talked. We are afteral supposed to spend the "stimulus check" money that we (many/most) received.

I thanked him, bought a couple more things and went on.

Received quickly also.

THAT TRIGGER IS FANTASTIC! Yo!

I got a Wolverine R when they first came out. Yup, spent the big bucks for it, but it has been a wonderful gun. The thing I like about the early models is that unlike the later ones, it can be de-cocked. They really have brought the $$ down quite a lot.

Even though the trigger is good from the factory, it can use a little TLC. I took all the parts out and polished them to a gloss shine and changed one of the springs. The Wolverine's trigger is now every bit as good as the Red Wolf's. I can feel no difference in them and for those who have experienced a Red Wolf trigger, you know what I mean.

Comparing the accuracy of the Wolverine vs. Red Wolf is tough. The Wolf may have the edge due to the shorter lock time, but on any given day, it is a rat race between the two.
