What's average wait time to get repair?

Sent in my hatsan compressor for leaking on 3/2/19 for repair. Haven't heard back since. I was expecting maybe 2 weeks to get it fix. Maybe 3 weeks at most. Been a little past a month and nothing. This is first time I sent anything in for repair. Usually if it breaks I try dyi or just toss away if it's beyond fix. Now my tank is under 2000 psi and need it back to fill my tank/guns. Anyone send their guns/compressor in and what's the wait time to get it repaired?

I’ve sent my gun in, like two weeks after I got it. It was shooting so very ooorly, and the final straw was a clunking noise inside the bottle to gun area. Hatsan sent me a pre paid return and I shipped it off. Gun was back in my hands in two weeks about, and all was good.

The folks I dealt with were Cecil and I believe a Shawn. I called first thing in the morning at 8:00 CA time and was able to leave a message, and they called me back within an hour.

i find that emailing them the day before, then calling them first thing the next day works best. Email them thru their website, using another customer service form.

What was leaking in your compressor, may I ask? PM me if you wish.

It was leaking from the cylinder head, or that's where the hissing sound came from. Wasn't from the stainless steel tubing. I tighten all the fittings and it was still hissing and dropping pressure on gauge. So they did sent me a return shipping. I shipped it on 3/2/19. FedE tracking said was delivered on 3/6/19. I thought it was gonna take 2-3 weeks at most. Guess not.

Only had like 2 hours on it. When got it first thing I did was run it for 20 mins with no tank attached. Then I did the pressure test to see if any leaks. It was holding pressure at 4495 with no problem. Then I tried to fill my 74cf tank. About 40 minutes through it began to vibrate really hard. After that it just build pressure really slow. So I stopped it and did leak test and it was then leaking air. All fittings are tight. It seem to be coming from the head cylinder.

Any bubbles showing when you applied a leak solution? Seems like mine makes that same hiss noise, and the only place I had any leaks was at the fill whip connection at the bleed block and later on at the opposite end of the fill whip, closest to the tank. During a fill I noticed it was taking too long to build up pressure, so I started applying leak test solution to all fittings and joints, and finally found that one. It was at the crimp to the fill whip hose, just a fault probably when the whip was made. Hatsan replaced it no problem.
