What Wrong with this Picture?

I was in our local walmart this morning, and as always, checked to see if there were any .22 call pellets to be had. To my surprise, there were several on the shelf, so I grabbed a couple. Once home, I was just about to open the packaging and put them away..... but then.....

Look closely....at the packaging, and then at the actual tin..... let me guess.... Covid is to blame? Walmart has a no return policy on ammo....wonder what's going to happen when I show up at the return desk with these.

You could go back and ask to open them in front of the clerk. They may actually be 22 cal but with just a wrong label on the tin.

This is .177 pellets, and you wanted .22.

 Open one up and check the contents. Perhaps they are in fact .22, but in the .177 tins.

They put wrong tin in the wrong packaging. Like you never make a mistake in your life? Lmao. Its just a packaging mistake. Open and see what caliber it is. Don't you have .177 and .22 so it doesnt matter what caliber it is?

With any luck they will have put 500 .22 pellets in a .177 tin in a .22 package.

Heck, I wouldn't open it at all. It's worth a couple of bucks just as a conversation piece. I'd just go back and get another one in actual 22. If you don't have a .177 and have already opened them to be sure they are in fact .177, then pass them on to a friend with one.

Now you have an excuse to get another airgun, wouldn't want to waste em'.

That is the piranha pellet packing card. you will likely get better accuracy from a .177 pellet in your .22 than you would with a .22 piranha.

I'd shoot the picture over to crosman and see what they say. Tell them you got them from walmart and they wont accept the return, I bet you if crosman has any in a warehouse they will send you 2 or 3 tins.. thats usually how things like this work.

Don't open it, you can display it with your other airgun stuff. My sister has a can of Pepsi that it's sealed and completely empty.
