What would you recommend with these requirements?

Hi AGN!

Mark here again… calling on optics nerd to help me find the perfect red dot for my Matador.

I’m looking for:

Must haves -

Red/green dot
4x magnification (can be flip out)
Tool less adjustment
Pic rail native mount

Additional considerations -

Multiple 2 MOA reticles
Common battery type
Min of 3” eye relief

Am I missing something I should be considering?

The longest range I’ll be shooting on is 100/150 yards.

Hoping to tap into the AGN hive mind that has immense experience to guide me so I don’t make a mistake with this choice.

Seems like a bit of a tall order, trying to combine features of multiple optic systems into one. It reads like you really don’t care too much about the typical eye relief and flexibility afforded by a dot; more like you want all the features of the ubiquitous LPVO, except having a dot instead of a reticle?

The one I have is a mixed bag. Really nice optical quality for the price point, but the illumination is very, very tight. I actually had a cap 3D printed to give me more leverage on the knob. Turrets are finger adjustable. They are hardly the most crisp and precise feeling, but they get the job done.
