What was your first Pellet Rifle?

I was 9 years old and got a 1969 Crosman M1. Lots of fond memories playing army with it! I now have a similar M1 rifle (Not wood) with the origional metal magazine and not scared up from slamming the barrel into the ground to cock it!

I believe it was a Beeman R1 I inherited from my grandfather back in the mid-80s. Was stolen in the early 90s.

Crosman 760, put alot of bbs and pellets through it. Next was Crosman 22 cal. 140 ? Maybe? . Went to Florida when we moved there and shot swamp rabbits, snakes and a gator sunning behind house,he left the yard quick. Had alot of fun with those guns,like everyone wish I still had them.

Daisy model 25, then a Crosman 760, and then a Crosman 2100. Crosman 2100 was actually a great gun and I put many thousands of pellets down the barrel.

My first was a Predom Lucznik. Reminds me of the HW35. I was around 10 mid sixties. Hunted every weekend on a 500 acre tobacco farm where the Ganaraska runs through it. A excellent Trout stream. Crow

No airgun nostalgia for me. The first taste was in March 2023, a Daisy 880. It still was just as addictive as a childhood delight would be, though.

Around 1972 I bought a used Crosman M1 bb rifle. You pushed the barrel in to cock it. It wasn't very powerful, but I only shot cans with it.

The same year that I bought my Sheridan.

Daisy Powerline 880 that my uncle gave to my father. It was the spark. Had many other Daisy and Crosman models in my youth. I purchased a used AA Pro Elite 25+ years ago as my first really serious air rifle. What an introduction to springers that was! Wish I had that one back, but I've acquired many very nice examples since. It's a great hobby!
