Hello Ladies and Gents i have a Marksman Model "MPR" Air Pistol and it fires .177cal BB's, Pellets & Darts I would like to know what the different ammo is used for as this is my first air gun and was past on to me by my late grandfather..
That is an old classic pistol. It isn't particularly powerful. If you were to shoot someone from more than 10 feet, you'd likely miss. Closer than that you likely make them angry. It shoots BBs, Pellets and Darts. I haven't seen the darts for sale in a long time, but they were fun to shoot at dart boards when I was about 12. BBs are good for shooting cans or paper targets, pellets are probably not good for much in that gun, but they'd knock over cans just the same, and darts are/were good for shooting cardboard boxes, dartboards, etc. The gun isn't particularly dangerous, but it does look like a real gun so that is probably it's greatest danger.
