It's the same old story ... whatever the public will bear. They are business men, we can expect nothing different ... until WE start doing something different. The good part is that we are in charge of whether we buy or not and that defines whether the sellers make a profit and stay in business or not. Personally, I take exception to being used, abused and made to feel cheap, I may love to play the clown, but I'm not a fool.

Supply and demand!

I wonder since these are European guns if some of it has to do with the price of the Euro against the dollar? Have other European guns gone up accordingly or is it that these FX guns have been pushed in our faces real hard the last year or so. Now they have a cult following and people love them. Thats all you hear about so maybe they will jack the prices and see what happens. I would love one too but would never pay that much for an airgun when my $700 gun works fine for my needs. If people stop buying, prices will come down or until the next company arrives with a great gun at better prices. Time will tell.

FWIW folks...I keep an eye on the exchange rate constantly and have bought in the past when £1 = Euro 1.40 from Europe, import into UK without a problem; unfortunately £1 = Euro 1.08 due to Brexit, so stopped buying for now. I suggest you do the same thing as FX is made in Sweden (In Eurozone but chose not to use the Euro) -  and so is Priced in Swedish Kroners... by checking Euro websites - like from Holland/Netherland ...but they have all been banned from what Ive been told - they are not allowed to sell /mail /send any FX rifles or parts to USA under threat from...whatever ;-) or those Euro shops would be dropped as a re-seller (sound familiar what THAT means ?)

Looking at the graph USD/SEK - yes the USD$ is temporarily weak against the Swedish Krone - but on average hovers at the 8 mark...only other variables are the price of shipping in containers , transport, packaging , insurance to USA shops or country agent..

J ust did some quick research for Australia. The listed price for the Royale 500 is $1999Au.Hasn't changed in the 3 years since I bought mine.Don't know if prices are about to increase here as well but,I hope they don't take the food manufacturing approach and go to smaller packaging and keep the price the same.
Sooner or later manufacturers need to increase prices along with everything else.
