What springer did you shoot today?

A few days back when I was shooting the Diana 250 the front sight fell off. I was glad just got in the way of scope.
Today I was going through a box of old gun parts , and found G1 flash hider for a FAL. I tried that as an extension on the 250 , and it fit great slipping over the barrel of the 250. It gave me enough extension to be able to cock it with 1 hand. There was a flat on the end of the 250 barrel where the all plastic front sight was , so I drilled , and tapped the flash hider for a couple set screws and put it on. It's looking great , and was shooting great with it on there. I also added some plastic tubing over the barrel as well. For a new gas ram with only about 100 shots through it things are working out great. OV . Finally able to attach a photo yeah feel's good. The green circle shows where I shot 5 shots with the 250. It worked using a file manager called "CX file explorer". Here is a few pic's showing the added flashider , and the plastic tubing added to the Diana 250.

Well, I put 3 pellets through this today just to see how it felt. Purchased from a member here, .177 with ARH FAC kit. Beautiful shot cycle. Kimmie 2 Guns put a fourth pellet through and agrees. Set of Sportsmatch medium rings supposed to be here tomorrow. Rain tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday. RaIny Saturdays are good for scope mounting. A dry Sunday would be great for zeroing and testing! Fingers crossed.

I shot the 250 again today using the harder Crosman premier hollow points. Just using up this ammo to break it in.
I figure 25 shots a day for 10 days will be 250 hoping to get it settled in a bit , so I can switch to these heavier
H&N Barracuda 18.13g with a 5.52 head. If all goes well I'll be getting some good accuracy from this little gas ram rifle. I'm going to post pic of the groups , and this off hand shooting is new to me as well as learning my springer shooting technique. Holding the rifle in a open hand at the balance point has been working good so far.OV.

I'm not saying that I have a favorite, but, you will notice that one gets used substantially more often than the other.....
I can see these are a side lever in a modular platform. Are they the Diana 54 These are awesome by the way

Russian made
Baikal IZH 60 and IZH 61

The 60 is a single shot, while the 61 has a 5 shot biathlon style magazine. The magazine is visible on top of the pellet tin if you zoom in.

Beautiful rifle. That stock, is it walnut? I don't wanna sound rude, but It almost looks like the synthetic stock on my old Remington Nylon 66. It's hard to tell from the photo. If that's a walnut stock, it's stunning.

Not rude at all! Its exhibition grade from Turkey....in my dreams! No Kevin it's the faux look similar to Berettas do. The only saving grace is I'm not afraid to use it

My 34 120yr is the real deal through

Got the .177 Pro Sport scoped this evening. Rain OTW, wind picking up and skies getting dark, wasn’t going to be able to zero. Grabbed a tin of AA 8.4 just to fire a few and see where we were. Three shots from 12 yards, standing offhand, aiming at an old pellet hole upper left in pic. First three shots I’ve taken with this rifle. Believe we going to get along. Hoping Mother Nature cooperates some over the holiday so I can zero and really get acquainted.

Another stunning beauty. Those 34s are wonderful rifles. Add a walnut stock, and you're talkin' "Keeper". I noticed that the safety has bee removed. I've done that to a couple of Walthers, an LGU and an LGV. Awesome guns, but I had nothing but trouble with those safeties malfunctioning.
Thanks for sharing, my friend.
