What springer did you shoot today?

62F again in morning, high 76 with wind. Worked my butt off on dock and wall. Got time for a few gems.
Before shooting I painted my targets. I don’t know if your mother told you which paint covered best. I’ve tried everything, the best I found flat white.
First gun a HW35 .177

Superb gun. Dead nuts on.
Last for the day, it’s now dark at 8:30pm, what a drag. Pulled out a R9 .20. A gun that doesn’t like to miss.

Diana 65 made up to look like an RT, and Beeman San Anselmo era 124D, note plastic/wood butt plates, early Beeman scope...both much more accurate than me!

Wind was starting to gust and thunder roll but got a little playtime in. FWB 124 .177 and HW35E .177. Threw some cans out 18 yd from where I was standing. If you hit them just right on the edge they dance. This pair causes a lot of dancing. Only issue shooting these two together is I have to not rip the barrel off the 124 cocking it after I’ve been shooting the 35 and have to remember to thumb the latch open on the 35 after shooting the FWB. The 124 has an ARH softer kit so it’s really easy to cock. Occurred to me while shooting that a man could live his life with just these two airguns and have a pretty darn good time. Not that I have any intention of doing so, but still .
