What springer did you shoot today?

I managed an evening 35 min plinking session! I set up a target at 20 yards, my KYL was at 30 yards. It’s fun nailing the KYL at that distance with a little springer. Only about 10 CPHP left. I’m really looking forward to see that this rifle will do with JSB lead.

I like setting the bar low.
It leaves plenty of room for improvement.

I'm thinking about a range finder, what are you using? I like that view format.

KYL = Know your limits , the one i gave you is one ,but usually a 10 target model placed at farther and farther distances as the shooter progresses . KYL means you stop b4 you miss one . You miss one and you get no score for that round . Even though you hit the first 9 spinners , you miss and you get 0 .

Discovery 6x24AOE. I really like the two I have. They can be difficult to mount since they are so short. For plinking and pesting in my yard, they are one of my favorites.

Tonight a FWB sport. Great gun. Have 2 of these. One with iron sights.

Also a HW50 .22. A magical gun. So accurate.

Out at the range this morning with my Browning leverage. I was ready to do some sight in today and maybe some field target practice tomorrow.
But this old girl did it all in 45 minutes.

This is a tuned field target gun with an old leapers 12x scope. It was tuned with a lot of help from Mike Melick at flying dragon.

I made a first shot and then set that as the aim point. It put ten in a hole under the bullseye.
I actually turned the top turret to zero and shot the next ten in that sort of line.
It was me aiming right and left and just being stunned .
So I did a rough sight in from 10-55 yards.
Then I went to the field target course and cleared a lane on the first try. I did miss one of the reset shots because I flinched . But it knocked down and reset three targets twice set at 15 25 and 45 yards . That was it. Gun is ready for use.

I am lending it to a friend who wants to get into field target. I won’t let him spend money till he can get a one hole group with this.

Took my HW98 .22. There is something wrong.

Have to open up.
As well this gun Pro Sport .177. Performs as well as is looks.

Needs a .20 cal. barrel. Crow

I got out to shoot the gamo magnum gen 3 .22. Shot some jsb 18.13gr jumbo exacts at my pistol spinner at about 100yds. No wind beautiful day to stretch her legs at my favorite plinking spot. Sighted in on the 5in plate, shot a 5rnd group at the 3in top and went 5 for 5.

Warm and windy in New England today.
HW35 .177 and a Bugbuster. Taking the advice to “aim small” at 5X. Open hand between the stock and the bag.

It’s coming. JM spring is smooooth.
I’m happy at this distance.
I welcome any suggestions.

First day of seven shooting this weeks gun , TX200 .177 H&N FTT 8.4 . Stayed within the 1/4 inch 10 ring for 20 shots and eliminated the center dot 9 times . N50 target / Sorry no pictures .my I phone will not send pic. Need to find a 15 year old to fix it .
