What springer did you shoot today?

Do you have the original spring? I tried the 13.4 and they were in the 700-750 fps range so I just dismissed them as too heavy.
No I have the Vortek PG4 tune up kit. Even with the original spring you use, nothing wrong with your fps, that is close enough...the .177 Monster Diablo has great knockdown power.....as well as good trajectory. Better than going to .22's loop trajectory at distance. A great option! I sort them to 10gr +/- 13.43gr. World of difference.

Finished the tin of 500 RWS 7gr with my new R7. The next 500 for the wear in process is 500 CPHP. And so far it’s looking good, better than the 7gr wadcutters.
This is the first 5 since switching, the two groups after that, except one bad pellet, were tighter groups. All the CPHP are fitting in snug. I had one that went in really easy, and it hit .75” lower than all the other pellets.

Impressive to say the least. Struggling to get there with my latest. What gr pellet? I have a new R7 coming from Mike Melick at Flying Dragon Airguns fully tuned. First new R7 since 82.
CPHP 7.9gr
I’m using a 6x Discovery scope. I can’t do that with iron sights yet 😂
I love this little rifle, I can’t wait to teach my son to shoot with it. I shot it more today than my Revere

I went out to the range with me TX200 today. This rifle was set up for WFTF open piston Field Target and shoots really well at about 12 ft lb. But it had a 10-40x56 scope and a hamster plus the big side wheel. The gun shoots really well but was bulky and I could not see the loading port at all because of the scope. Now I have a compac10- 16 x50 leapers scope with a nice compact coma wheel. I can see the whole loading port . The balance is fantastic. It’s like a new gun.

Today I got to the range and made the rough sight in . Hitting 55 yard spinners and clearing a couple field target lanes.

Tomorrow I’ll be fill in the gaps on my dope chart. And testing some 4.52 size pellets.
