What springer did you shoot today?

4 rifles today, all .25 cal. HW97, HW80, HW77 and a HW90.View attachment 567157All guns were great except for the 80. It’s a k barrel and I installed a Vortek 3 over power?. It’s too much for this gun, IMO. Especially with the short barrel. Have to change this spring.
The 77 I will never part with. Has a TbT spring, still has a twang, but super accurate. Easily took out small men at 30 yds.
The 90 is at 18 bar and once dialed in the scope, lethal. Crow
Wow! Super cool 👍😀

Been working like a dog, cleaning for summer and weekend. Wife’s 70th. Have to buy hey a nice gun.
This is my coffee lounge for the next 4 months. Sometimes I have my 30 and shoot targets from here. View attachment 567569That big Pine tree lost a dozen big branches in our ice storm.
I had time to shoot a HW50 .22. This gun is dead nuts on. A treat to shoot.View attachment 567568Crow
You have such an amazing collections of air rifles, I’m sure they put a smile on your face. Every time you shoot it, you are truly blessed, thank you for sharing. I really enjoy seeing such amazing and beautiful air rifles.

Looks like no shooting today, I was hoping for a bit, but had to mow the lawn, and was about 3/4 finished when I saw a big black cloud in the distance, so ended up racing the rain. I did beat it but is dark outside with thunder and rain. At least I got the yard finished. We have had so much rain late this spring the grass and weeds are growing like mad. probably about 3/4 inch a day.

Out this afternoon with my $50 .25, I love this little rifle. Also had a good workout with the .30

Thanks. I just went through a rare stretch of no shooting for 4-5 days. Went crazy.
Yes they keep my happy and busy. 8 years going now and time to coast. Spring sets to install and a lot of shooting. Crow

The weather has finely turned nice here the last couple days. Today was a good airgun day for me I got my Frankenrauch 95 shooting beautifully. The new Sightron scope I installed is working out great.

Then I managed to rescope the R1 after two failed attempts to install two different Vortek kits. I put it back to my improvised spring kit for now. It shot well and hard at >20 fpe. Waiting on Tom to get back to me. I'm pretty sure I know what's wrong but I want his attention on it.

This Beeman 77 MkI I picked up in December is finally starting to group well now. It's probably got about 2k pellets down the pipe since my last bore scrub and polish. It's finally clover leafing at 25 yards like it should. I guess it just need the rounds through it to smooth out bore. I was initially disappointed in the accuracy of this historically highly regarded piece. Nice to see it finally coming together.

I could have wrote that. Same here, but I didn't get the trim done yet though. I have trim for the push mower that needs to be done as well the yard.

Thats good news Ron! 👍

Same guns as yesterday only different. cal. Pro Sport .22. Love this gun. Wish I could get one in .20 cal.

And last for morning a TX200 .177. Great gun, don’t know about the scope. I’ve probably have 40 Air Max’s. I only returned two, and both were the same as this one. It seems to be acting up.

Weather is perfect today. Low 70s with sun and cloud. Crow

Here’s today’s standing fiver, 20 meters. Measures just under 3.5 moa.

I’ve got the HW77 right where I want it now as far as tune, sights, etc. Now I’m looking at custom stocks so I can get a more comfortable hold. Anyone willing to chime in on Lucas Parlsey or Craftsman VIT?

This is the second Lukas Parsley stock that I have owned.

I foolishly sold the first one, and regretted it instantly, if that tells you anything.
The inletting is tight to the receiver tube, and there is no pitch, roll or yaw in the action at all. The rifle fits the inletting with a firm push and bottoms out with a positive stop. No mush, no sweet spot for the stock screw, just a full firm seat.
The exterior finish is equal to the quality of any laminate stocked Olympic 10M rifle from a high end manufacturer.
The stippling on the grip panels is not aggressive and somewhat smooth, but the way that the thumbhole locks your hand in negates the need for a more aggressive surface.
The hamster is adjustable for height, and will cant a full 90° left or right.
I have not handled a Craftsman Vit stock, so can make no direct comparison for you.

The only difference I can see visually is that the Vit stock may be more suitable to shooting Thunb Up, if that is a concern.
The LP stock has no thumb rest and requires a wrap around grip, or rest your thumb across the bridge at the top of the thumbhole.
