What springer did you shoot today?

Popping off at tiny targets with a pair of candidates who don't get out as often as they should. CO2 weather determined that they get some time in the sun.

Well, it's not as warm today. So back to the springers. Took out a Mendoza 277 and Diana 250.

Been working like a dog, cleaning for summer and weekend. Wife’s 70th. Have to buy hey a nice gun.
This is my coffee lounge for the next 4 months. Sometimes I have my 30 and shoot targets from here.
That big Pine tree lost a dozen big branches in our ice storm.
I had time to shoot a HW50 .22. This gun is dead nuts on. A treat to shoot.

I bought her a pistol, a Diana Chaser, one for me as well, a few years back. During the winter in the basement I set up a generous stop and a target in center. Made it easy 7 yds. to start.
She put 4 shots through the drywall. That was two times for her, first and last. I’m kinda sad and glad. I try to get her to shoot. Not going to happen. She uses that gun to scare the grackles with a dry fire.
She never stops me from shooting and actually encourages me to shoot more, like last night went out at 7 pm for an hour with this. A LGU Varmite .22. Instead of starting another post. Superb gun.

I have doubles of some rifles so i shot one against the other , TX200 VA TX200 , the one i liked best stay's the other is going to the show tomorrow . Same with my 2 HW77 longs . one is going ,one is staying . Triple Sheridan .20 , only 2 are going to the show .

Most days the first thing I do is shoot a 5 shot group. The target today had one bull left on it after couple of weeks of using this target. Not a perfect group but at 22 yards not bad, 5 shots. Outside idge .292, c to c .115. The white center of the rings are .250.

These rifles are way more accurate than we are.
But sometimes we get really close to the true "one hole" potential.
