It would seem the sweet spot (for your gun) is between 9.6 and 10.7 weight pellets?

Meh. Got the 20 cal 98 out late this afternoon. Shot the normal 5 @ 25yards. Some bad, some decent, none great. I haven't spent a lot of time with this one, but I've spent enough to expect more. Groups shot left to right then top to bottom. Number seven is where I switched from JSBs to FTTs. Some scope adjustments inside both pellets.

Pro Sports are 1 of the best IMO, but I’m on a table.
Finally got to shoot for a few hours. My daughter was here 4 days and kiboshed my shooting.
First up R9 .20, what a way to startup. Beautiful day.

Up next HW97 .177. It just doesn’t get much better.

Great accuracy. Easy to handle.
This HW98 .20 turned around to ba a favorite rifle. Man it was the nastiest rifle out of the box.

And after over 2 hours a HW97 .25. Today’s favorite plinker. It was awesome hitting wet snow targets.

Today finally got time to test JSB VS FX in my .22 HW77 long . I started out fine. ran a patch thru the barrel then 10 warmup rounds of JSB . Used my covered 16 yard range .
Next was 5 rounds for group which also landed on 10 ring . Then i ran a patch through again and switches to FX , 10 round warmup and 5 shot group 3 shots touching center x but two outside 10 ring because i was not dead on concentration . I slipped into thinking the weight difference 18.13 versus the FX 15.9 .
Taxes tomorrow will take up a lot of time so Thursday i will test again hope for more consistent results , I will post the target then .

When out to clean shop, did a 180 at the door. Too sunny to work. A HW80 .177 changed the mood. I found a little gulling happening.

Then I got my first break barrel l bought. A HW90 .25. Man I despised this rifle. 18 bar and it’s one of my favorites. I bought another 90 on Monday a .177. I’ve been giving my rifles names. The .25 I named “Duke”. I find the 90’s most impressive.

Last up after 2 hours of shooting a FWB Sport .177. The sun was hot, it was 49 F when I came in for lunch. Wicked shooting. Crow
I discovered a new bug, a snow spider walking around.

Prosport this afternoon, I shot 10 groups off of the sticks at 40 yards. 5 shots at the 1/4" red dot.
These are the best 3 groups, the bottom one was going to be exceptional, but I pulled one swaying on the sticks..lol.

Went to the back of the closet.
closed by eyes and grabbed an air gun.
the Air Arms Khamsin was chosen.
Shot her about 30 min. Called a Groovy Airgun member. His first response. Don’t put it away. I want to buy it.. lol
He drove hour and half and it was his. My Airgun shooting adventure 2/21/24
