What size pellets for FX Boss? (7.62mm or 7.63mm)?

Does someone with experience shooting the FX Boss .30 cal big bore air rifle know which pellet sizer I would want?

The 2 choices are 7.62 mm and 7.63 mm.

I will be using JBS pellets ONLY aside from NSA slugs (sizing on slugs is N/A).

That's your sizer? It doesn't matter by 1 hundreth if you're putting them all through the sizer. I'd slug the barrel. Feel the tight spot choke & push it back out through breech than gauge it. It's also very simple. Buy one of each & see what barrel likes more.

JSB only. I get it. In most rifles JSB Excel especially longer distances. Hey if you're out there can I buy back the .22 AZ Rapid that preferred Crosman Premier Hollow points at 100 yards? Nickel sized groups all day in no wind and not even regulated. Who made/sells that nice sizer by the way please? I would love to have 2 good sizers. .177 & .22

You could go a different route and get a .30 pellet guage, sort pellets for different head sizes and then shoot groups indoors or on a windless day to see which head size groups the best. Then you'll know which head size your barrel likes. When you're wanting to shoot for maximum accurace, shoot those head size pellets. Then, if you want, you can buy a pellet sizer of the head size that grouped best.

PS - If you go that route, shoot me a PM. I have a .30 pellet guage I don't use anymore.
