N/A What should I sell my FX Maverick Sniper .22 at?

I am looking at selling my FX Maverick Sniper in .22. It has the slug power kit and slug barrel in it. It would be shipped in a hard FX case that I got it in.

What would be a fair price for something like this?
To me with the good fried family discount about $150

For me, write off the add ons and be reasonable. Many people think their stuff is worth msrp when it's a generation+ old. If I'm paying msrp, I'm buying new and getting a warranty and no "golden screwdriver" potentially. I'm an outlier.

If a new 700mm mav is about 1800, id list it with the mods for 1500 if it were me. No optic I'm assuming. It's a great gun, but the end user doesn't know how it was stored or worked on or if they'll be rebuilding. Customers who feel they got a value are less prone to pester you down the road too.

Edit.... 1500 includes you paying shipping and insurance. So it ends up in the lower 1k range as others have stated.

Any more than $1,300 and I’ll bet it doesn’t sell. It might take a while to sell it at that price but at least you might get a guy thinking. Anymore than that a guy will just move on and forget about it. It’s a Maverick. Not a sought after gun. A good price makes a guy who doesn’t need one suddenly think he does.

Hate to say it but in this market it will be tough to get $1,150 shipped. I couldn't sell my 600mm Bronze Impact M3 for $1,500 shipped a couple months ago. I think I might have been able to $1,300 shipped, so I just put it back in the safe. Shipping to residential with full insurance alone is like $170, so ending up with $1,130 was not worth it to me. Good luck with your sale.

Thank you for the advice! I appreciate it!

Just for reference. Bullet central has 5 of them in stock (30 cal snipers). They have had 5 for about a year at least. Haven’t sold 1. $1550 comes with their tensioned barrel shroud, stock shroud and over 100 dollars worth of pellets. Can’t explain why but a very non coveted platform anymore which is a shame as they are great.

Weird. Then you look at Utah Airguns and they are sold out. Just weird how that works. Thank you for the information!

Utah doesnt sell a Maverick with custom shroud and 8 tins of ammo for $1550. @Trucker3573 is just pointing out that potential buyers can get a new upgraded Maverick with a warranty for $1550, so you chances of getting anything close to that for a used on go down to almost zero. Ive had a Maverick up for sale for months at $1285 knowing it might be a little high and could take a long time to sell. It might never sell...

Hello. In Bulgaria we have a saying: For every train there are passengers ;) That is, there is always someone who will buy your Maverick!!!
I also have a Maverick, 22 cal. It shoots great and I have won unofficial competitions that we have organized in Bulgaria more than once.
My advice to you, of course it's free and you can skip it, but still, if you want people to notice the potential in your Maverick and someone to express a desire to buy it, the option is to make some nice shooting sessions recorded on camera that show what the rifle can do, how it works technically and with what settings and ammunition. Then post your ad here and I believe that if there is someone in need of a PCP, your post will be reflected and you may be successful with the sale. I wouldn't sell my Maverick for anything, it works very well and is very accurate, there's no way an o-ring won't go bad or a small piece of the Huma's tuning spring will break off, it's inevitable!!! There are things that aren't perfect and need to be serviced more often than other airsoft guns, but complete happiness is unlikely to be found with any brand!!! I can wish you success. And as a final note:

- Enjoy :)

It should be. It's a slept on gun. My buddy has one and I have an impact.. Both in 22. The maverick does what the impact can do for power and precision but nobody seems to notice it.

My take on used airguns is unless its a great bargian me personaly id rather have new. When i see prices that are close to new makes me wonder why someone would tinker and mod a gun then sell expecting full price for YOUR custom toy. Same as picture on classifieds with all the accesories that dont go with the sale.....like bipods and scopes rails and whatever else ypu put in the picture to make it look more valuable. My opinion if its in the pic it should go with gun. And for me being new to airguns im not knowledgeabe enough to state a standard. My personal quest is to take something and tweek here and there in hopes of making it better. That is not always the case

You have somewhat limited you market to slug shooters. With the advancement in the newer slug shooting platforms, people will buy that over your older setup. Good Luck. I think a fair price for what you have would be around $900 shipped. Any more than that and it will sit for a while. Hope you get your asking price. You may just want to keep it instead of taking a severe loss.
