I just got my used .177 Red Wolf today and none of the rings I have are high enough to clear the magazine. What rings are you guys using of very good quality that fit the dovetail and also clear the magazine?

This is what I use. I have an Aztec FFP on and the bell is right above the magazine. It is a tight fit. Keep in mind I am using the older magazines and some have indicated that the new ones are a mm or two higher, I cannot confirm this,

If you need high rings I would just go ahead and put a dovetail to picatinny adapter on it. You will have a much bigger selection of rings that way. The adapter will also give you some added height.

Thank you sir - I'd be looking at 30mm rings - probably should've mentioned that.
The H&N 10.65gr Barracuda Match seems to be doing very well. The JSB 10.34 as well. I have some 13.43gr, 13.43gr redesign and 16gr JSBs but maxing out at 18fpe it seems like they might be a bit much for the gun (I'm looking into a heliboard).
I also have some 12grain dish base Griffin slugs I just sent through around 800fps and it may be the first time I shot 10 slugs into a single hole at short range.

Don't be too power crazy. You be surprised it's not an FX where it needs high power in order to shoot accurately.
FX No Limits may be your cheapest 30mm mounts I would recommend other than the $20 - $30 (depending If shopping smart)(OR NOT!) Sun Optics ADJUSTABLES (former B Square).

I used Sportsmatch adjustable high rings, BKL tall rings, and a set of Kelblys. All worked fine.

I also like the Sportsmatch. Which scope are you going to mount. The rings I posted earlier have plenty of clearance with an Aztec scope. If the bell is right above the magazine the clearance is tight. LMK if you need me to snap a picture.

Only good pic I could find of 30mm rings with a 50mm objective for reference. These were the BKL highs.

Good stuff - thanks. I was also searching around the net for other threads pertaining to Red Wolf rings and found a good number (mostly UK forums) mentioning the BKL so I ordered a pair of single strap highs to avoid dealing with adapters.
Things are feeling a bit a ghetto with what I was able to temp throw together till I get the right rings.
