what rifle .25 do you recommend?

Hello AGN friends.

I need your help to make the best decision when buying a .25 pcp, I have made bad decisions and I have lost money.

The maximum budget is $ 1150 usd to buy a rifle with a telescopic sight.

The use that I intend to give it is to control pests on the farm that range from pigeons to coyotes so I look for something with enough energy for that task.

25 dreamline classic with synthetic stock is one of the best hunting rifles out there,lightwieght and tuned very easy.without the LCD they are pretty quiet also.

Put bit more and get 257texan. Will drop them yotes much better than any 25cal. I dont know anyone who have had any troubles with one. If you have land to shoot it and no worries about outsiders you will absolutely love it.

You'll be hard pressed to find a more powerful .25 than the AF Condor. They come unregulated. And they are BEASTS! You can easily make 110 fpe with a stock .25 Condor shooting some 48-55gr slugs. Mine is regulated, and I'm making 80fpe with 38gr slugs from AVS. Can my gun drop a coyote..... It'll drop it at 150 yards with a properly placed shot. Trust me.... I know . I've dropped lots of small and medium game with my rifle at long range. Possum, racoon, skunk, rabbit, squirrel, birds, and even feral nuisance animals. 

But as much as I love my rifle, there are lots of others out there that will do the trick. Everyone has their favorites on here. There are pros and cons for each. But if you're looking for sheer power, the Condor has it.

Jiikuu has also made a good point. The AF Texan in .257 is a long range KILLER! Maybe one of the most effective long range guns on the market for retained energy. My buddy Jose dropped a coyote at 300 yards with his shooting a cast 71gr boat tail from Arsenal Molds. His .257 has a muzzle velocity of 1050 fps, and that with the power wheel at 3.

I third the FX Dreamline! Buy once cry once!!

Between a buddy and I, we have several FX rifles now: a Crown, a Impact and a Dreamline Tactical. All shot awesome right out of the box. If you shop a bit, you can get it done in your budget.
