I use a 2 MOA Matchdot II with reliable altitude adjustment. This works fine on my pistols. I want to know if I am missing something that is as good or better ?
What red dot are you using for 50 to 100 yd distances.

im sure a magnified 30$ scope is better than a 200$+ red dot at 100 ... may have missed that lol ...

red dot of any MOA size is too large and obstructive / non defining aim point for such distances IMO

For man size targets at those distances? Otherwise? Lots of missing on smaller targets, my old eyes need magnification...

Well I don't have any red dots on PCPs, but I do have pretty nice Holosun on a .22 rimfire pistol. If I do my part, I can hit golf balls between 50-100 yds.

Just to be on target, definately not precision, i have a $25 Field Sport 2 mil Red Dot from Amazon i use sometimes on my .25 Armada. 50 yrds i am grouping maybe 1.5-2 MOA if I'm lucky with calm to ever so slight breeze

Not for target scoring but you can hit a paper @100.
Even better red dot with 4-6 magnifier combo.

Sorry, I'm not sure if you're referring to a red dot for pistols or rifles but I'm currently using an Aimpoint Micro T1 with a LaRue QD mount on my L2. Although, I don't use it for 50-100 yard shooting. 30 yards and inside for steel plates and spinners is where it shines. I have a magnified scope with QD mounts for the longer ranges I switch between.
