What program do you use

Hey members I would like to know how to take my drop and drift data that's written in a log book and put it all on something like a index card size via a computer. Now I don't have a computer/laptop just a android phone. But once I how to do it or what to use to get it done then I can go get it printed out. My girlfriend tried excel but it looks too small and cluttered. I have the yardage, the drop in inches, drop in moa and drift in 5, 10 and 15mph. So any help in getting this done would be greatly appreciated

When you say drifts I assume you're talking windage adjustments. While the ballistic apps will supply a value to hold off for whatever wind speeds you have input, shooting in the wind is much more complicated than that. It would be wonderful if a 5mph, 90 degree cross wind equated to holding off 1/2 a mil at 30 yards for example, but the wind just isn't that consistent. Adjusting for wind is one part timing your shot right when the breeze lays down on light wind days, two parts trying to grade the gusts into about as strong a gust as the last time you shot at a target at a similar distance on the really heavy windy days, and three parts luck. I'm not sure having the app supplied windage adjustment for various wind speeds is going to be as helpful as you think.

Strelock and Chairgun are the two that I use, but everything I get from the programs gets verified by actual shooting before I trust it much. Most of the time, yes, the predicted data is fairly close to the empirical data. I think for myself it's mostly a confidence thing.

The ballistic program predictions are easier to get accurate predictions for with PCPs, in my experience. There is just so much biological effect when shooting a springer that I think the shooters technique and form influence what the gun and therefore pellet are doing. Things like slightly more or less contact of the butt pad to the shoulder seems to change where the end of the barrel is at the exact time the pellet leaves, in relation to the whole cycle of the spring unloading.

Strelock gets the nod for providing slightly more accurate predictions than Chairgun, again, in my experience.

I've heard of another ballistic program somebody in my local(ish) field target club uses, I think it's called Shooter.

Good luck.

Sorry Josh. I just reread all this and realized you're simply wanting to compile your info into a range card. Guess I shouldn't post anything when I've been awake for over 24hrs (night shift called in sick and I had to cover their, and my own shift during the day).

Anyway, Microsoft Word or any other word processing program works grea. WPS Office is a free app like Microsoft office that you can get on your Android phone. Once you've decided on a word processing app, just add a table with how ever many columns and rows you want, fill in the data, and print it out. You can get tricky with resizing on your printer to make it small enough to fit inside your flip up lens cap. I like to keep mine there.

Sorry about providing my take on questions you didn't even ask.
