I do almost all my shooting from the standing offhand position. Growing up hunting, it was the position I always shot from, so it feels most natural to me. Can be quite challenging sometimes but always rewarding to hit your target. Sometimes I'll rest on a tripod with a sandbag on top. Other than sighting in, i never shoot from a bench.

Any position that might occur in a realistic scenario I practice. Prone, no support. Prone with support. Sitting, kneeling, on side with improvised rest. Standing using trees or fenceposts. Sitting with sticks or other rests. Standing freehand. Pehaps a half dozen more similar conmbinations. If you hunt varmints (all kinds) you need to be ready for the scenario that presents itself.

I prefer to sit in my car and shoot out the drivers window as the birds don't scare when you're in a vehicle just as long as you don't move too much.
When I'm on foot, I prefer to rest the rifle on a trigger stick tripod, short version, and I either get on my knees or sit down while using it. If I don't have the tripod, I will look for a tree, fence post, gate, side of a building, etc. to brace the gun against.
My favorite method is off a bipod on the roof of my car where I can brace the front and rear of the rifle for a solid and steady shot.
I'm a terrible off hand shot.
I would love to shoot prone but in pastures and on the farmyard it's just not a good idea.

70% standing offhand. 20% sitting, kneeling, prone. 10% benchrest (for the days I'm a little off, and have to prove to myself the gun is still accurate!). Very seldom use sticks or bipods. At one time I shot a lot of archery, so standing seems natural, plus if I need to do some pesting the opportunity always presents while I'm standing.

I used to like standing shots but over the last 5 years or so I cant keep the gun very steady so I mostly shoot off the bench now or if im hunting I will stand and use a tree as a support.

? well most of the time on a rest but. I still feel free hand for several minutes every shoot. Its a dying art and the hardest i would love to see this done at some of the big shoots even just one round be cool to see some of the best. Bench shooters. Free hand pat

Sitting, left arm on left knee for target shooting, for hunting I try to lean against something, I enjoy bench shooting for the small longer range groups, although I don't bench shoot much.

I shoot from all of those positions, but I use a slightly different sitting position more often than any of them: Sukhasana or sometimes called the deadman position when shooting field target.

I would say it's split between offhand, seated resting on the knee, with a sprinkling of kneeling and benched.
