What pistol did you shoot today

I had milled the action before to remove barrel movement, I should had turn down the barrel shroud so its all same diameter end to end. Then I can make a silicon bronze bushing for the slide. Why are cheap guns more fun than top tier? lol.
Because that’s what we had when we were kids and we would shoot all day on a box of BB’s…all this Hi Tech stuff is cool but some of the guns made 50 years ago are better than the new ones today …they were made with pride…what happened to the kid’s in us…I would love to see everyone first air gun they owned if they still have it …and here there stories about it

Very relaxing afternoon wit my HW75 and a fan outside shooting 20 yards ,If you have never shot one Beg / Borrow ? steal (not mine please ) one to try .
just a thought ? If you like repeater action just buy 10 of them , shoot and quickly pick up the next in line .

Sept. 9 . 2025 i will be an 80 year old kid ! love my toys !

I received another fwb 65 from David Slade today. So one can have the recoil slide stopped to have a recoil effect. It is interesting how the rifle weight pellets have more recoil than the pistol weight ones. Recoil is not really the right term it’s more like you feel it firing more with the slide blocked off. And more still with the heavier pellet. Anyhow that was fun to learn today for me. I learned from David that not only the recoil damper could be stopped but also the trigger pull could be drastically increased up to firearms weight with a simple flip of a setting. So the 65 can be set to be a firearm trainer. This is all part of the original 65 design and build. He also told me the setting will drastically reduce accuracy but not hurt the 65’s longevit. So I learned plenty from him and am happy to have a more accurate trainer then my p1.

Shooting my resurrected 0.177 Webley Tempest at six yards this evening, ten shots off-hand, the target was the right way around when I shot it!

That’s some good shooting with that “Temperamental” Pistol…that’s what I call mine…lol…and I don’t think it’s matters what way you shot that target…it was a nice group…I think I will order a tin of those pellets and see how the do in my Beeman tempest…thanks

Have both models in .177 also. Gotta have them all 😁

@Modski66 your next purchase should be a Model 38C and 38t in .22

I was actually thinking of a MK1 or MK2, but a 38t in 0.22 might go nicely with my 0.177 model. 🤔

Easier to load too... 😁
