This diehard IZH46M is still one of my favorites. The new AV grip is a direct fit & feels so much better! The pump lever pad just needed its channel widened.

The IZH-46M is one fine competition pistol unfortunately missing in my collection. What brand is the grip? I thought it was RINK for a moment, but the palm rest adjustment screw that's usually located on the back side of the grip isn't there...

Hi Helmet. I bought the grip from Air Venturi in the U.S. for $100 + shipping & tax. They are the importer for the AV-46M from Alfa Precision in Russia. The grip is made in Finland for Alfa.

Put these 3 to work. The 78G is fresh off a rebuild, the Tempest is new. All were pretty accurate, will need to adjust the sights to center the groups on the bullseye. About 10 shots each:

It's great, the 78G and the 79G deserve their reputation as being very accurate, great feel, and easy to work on. I chronied this at an average of374 fps with CP 14.3's. I think it might benefit from a lighter pellet, but I haven't tested that yet. I have had the 79G for awhile, this is the first time with the 78G.

Took these 2 to a local range this morning, 30yard 20mm bell targets were no issue for the AimX

I’ve got the Black Star. Love HW45’s. Accurate AND powerful. Takes some practice to master the spring’s kick, but that thing hits targets that I’d normally use a rifle for.

Love the idea of HW45 in .20 cal. I've been on a .20 cal search, and here's yet another I did not know about! Very nice and timely of you to share that one.

HW45 … mine is .22, but I do have the .177 barrel as well. Don’t have the .20 barrel yet. I like to grab all these options while they’re available, otherwise it turns into a real Easter egg hunt later on

My Crosman Custom Shop with H&N Finale Match Heavy works well for me. Being 82 with Parkinson's, I use a red-dot at 10 yds. I still get a perfect 50 now and then, but 48 is more common.

Gave this a light workout today. Gecado, basically an early Diana 5. I swapped the front sight for an HW30 (?) sight with the removable inserts. I’m always amazed at the accuracy of some of these old guns

Shot my IZH 46m a while this morning. Strong wind. I was plinking, shooting at hanging soda cans at 10m, and doing a rather good job of hittting them. When I got back in I found the grub screw that secures the front sight to the barrel was loose so the sight could move side to side, It's a wonder I was hitting anything, I took it out applied some loctite and reinstalled and tightened it.
