I have an Evanix ar22 and an ar6k in 22cal. What caliber have you found that seats in the magazine and doesn't fall out? I've tried several .216 and .217. Maybe .218 or .219? Let me know what works for you. Thanks, Bill and Addi.
Thanks. The JSB 25.39 falls out. Same with FX 25.4. Need 15gr. to 18.1gr for the K gun. 25gr is good for the ar22. Bill and Addi. The one i had liked h&n snipers( no longer made but can be found) and jsb heavies 25g. I never had a loose pellet problem.
Hi. What did you do to get a Renegade (ar6k) to that level of power? The Seneca Domed and Pointed are the best that I have found to fit in those cylinders without being loose. I use the dome headed ones. My AR6 is the Renegade version that does right at 42 ft. lbs. with the 28.5 grain domes.
Thanks. Can you post a picture? Bill and Addi. This Renegade was before the AR6K, it is as it came, a reduced power AR6 Hunting Master. Got it in 2009. I wonder if the bores of the cylinders are still the same.
Edit to add, they're probably still the same if the smaller skirted pellets are falling out.
I don't see how seating the pellet can help. The chambers are .220 for about 3/4 of the depth and then reduced to a lesser diameter. They are not tapered, but rather have a shoulder, stopping the pellet front going any further. Maybe the head was what needed seating. At 28.5g the Eun Jin pellets are too heavy for the modest power of the ar6k. Bill and Addi.Back when I had AR6s and Sumatras I would seat the pellet with a Bic pen with the internal removed,...if I remember correctly the Baracuda sat nicely and of course the EunJin pellets like mentioned above.
