What part of the GX PUMP CS3 PCP Air Compressor near power switch is this ?

Hmmm. Can you check continuity? Resistance between the different windings?

Can you run me through the chain of events that led to failure and what you have tried to remedy?

As far as the motor, I don't know the cost. Sorry.

I may have made a big mistake putting a load on the compressor when I turned it back on during a cool down and did not bled the pressure off the pump and somehow may have damaged it that way?

I tried to contact then a few weeks ago with no help when it was less than a year, cross my fingers

Aha! I bet you burned off a trace from the circuit board from the extra amp draw against the resistance. Are you comfortable taking a photo of the control board and sharing with us?

The board was like $15 to replace.

Connected to the circuit board will be too fat red wires. Those are connected to the circuit board at the relay switch. If you unplug those two wires and touch them together while the machine is plugged in and turned on, the motor should start running. Before you do that, make sure the Piston is put back together so you don't have parts that are not tied down where they should be running into each other.

I've started the pump with over 4400psi in the line, with no problems. I've done it over 100 times, and I've never serviced my GX pump.

Did you contact customer service, or the seller? My first one died a couple months out of warranty. Customer service got them to set it right.

Had one did not last long. Not hard use either. Chinese junk.

I agree, and its not worth the premium price over the other Chinese junk slow speed compressors. At the same time i challenge the market to present a sub 1000 dollar non Chinese component comp.

Thank you for the helpful information mine just shut off completely I thought it could be that but found out the wires loose Just had to tighten The 2 screws But it's good to know you can just replace that part if it Burns out Also I'm glad there are people to talk to about Issues like this Air gun Bros Thank you
