What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Well I haven’t been shooting for a while, getting the house ready to sell has been keeping me busy and I had to take my bench down and hide my target and stuff. So tonight I decided to shoot a few targets and I decided to sit and shoot off hand at 10 meters. I shot 3 groups of 5. This was my best group for the evening. Everything is back in hiding 😁

Decided to test 33.95 gr FX pellets today. They shoot dang near identically to the 25.39 pellets after adjusting my transfer port. However, something seems to have broken as on the last 5 shots (I thought I felt something on my second shot), the rifle won’t fire when depressing the trigger. A couple of times it fired when I pressed the trigger forward, another couple after I push the trigger forward then depressed it again.

FX Crown MK2
FX 33.95 .25 pellets

*Identified that something in the safety mechanism is not operating correctly. I can now fire the rifle with the safety engaged. Time to tear it apart...*

Nice card! Check your sear engagement set screw, it might have backed out and therefore it will not cock.....hopefully it's this as it's an easy remedy. I had to bule loctite my Notos's as it backed out and wouldn't cock.

I got some AEA Center Punch pellets from The Pellet Shop recently and finally shot a string with them this morning. Shot the 25.3gr, shooting the first three targets before making an adjustment. Man, probably the best string I’ve ever shot.

Ignore the other rows, I still shoot and dabble daily but I didn’t want to continue to flood this thread.

Cleaned my Taipan Vet 2's barrel yesterday and re-sighted it this morning. 20yds JSB 18gr and POI was only 1 click low then shot this 1 shot on the fly target, then I quit..😂. These PCP's shoot like a video game, so fun when I do my part!

Randal, That is an awesome display of your skills and your rifle’s capabilities.

Sheesh, seriously good targets Mike! Congrats. I wish I could find a 100Y range around me to tune mine in, indoors. It’s a lot of guess work outdoors.

I’d like to try the 50s but I can’t get my speed much over 230-something, which isn’t fast enough. Unfortunately my reg isn’t handy to get to. Besides I have a lot more 45s on hand than 50s. Perhaps I’ll try them after PAC?

Had some time to hit the range for some 100 yard practice with my Skout. Used the 50.5g AEA pellets at 895-905. Could let Tim have all the fun…lol. Mine is in an indoor range…so really no comparison

Maybe indoors, but this is really good. Looks like 895-905 is a pretty common sweet spot for the 50g AEA pellets. If only PYA were indoors.

Seriously, nice to see what pellets are capable of without wind.
