What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

I recently bought a new FX Impact m4 sniper in 25 cal. After many groups with different pellet brands I shot this 10 pellet group with Benjamin 27.9 gr domed from the bench at 50 yards. Very happy so far

I did a through cleaning of the Crown, and I found myself regretting it. Anyway, here’s what I shot this morning. After making a .1 windage adjustment from my previous zero (before cleaning), it seems to be back to the standard I’ve come to expect.

Took the opportunity to shoot three different air rifles this morning. I started with the Crown MK2, moved to the Wildcat, then finished with the Zelos. I don't hold too much against the Zelos as the one I have has the barrel band/tripod attachment that is not separated. I have the aluminum Snowpeak trigger guard attachment enroute, which should eliminate any pressure that's being exerted on the barrel causing inconsistencies. I haven't spent the time necessary to tune it, but I think the platform deserves it.

The Wildcat is my least physically stable platform, which I'm really coming to enjoy. It really helps me make sure my body mechanics are in line in order to break a good shot. The stability is absolutely not helped by the cheap Temu tripod I'm currently using on it.

I moved my shooting table in my basement to the max range of 46’. I intended to shoot my 300s on the bags as I recently put the scope back on it. I decided to try the 603 JR. off hand at that range. Maybe a little larger front sight insert might help me at 10 meters. I think this is my best target so far with this rifle.

The Zelos is the most inconsistent, shot for shot, of the PCP’s I own. It’ll love a pellet for a couple of shots then sail the next few. I’m going to keep messing with it, starting with getting more air capacity so I can mess with reg and hammer tension a bit without having to pause for refills.

Top row for the Zelos was JSB Kings in 25.39, second row was JSB Kings in 33.95.
Top row for the Wildcat was AEA 25.39, second row JSB Kings 33.95
First three, left to right, for the Crown were JSB Kings 33.95, next two were AEA 25.39

With the exception of the Wildcat, most are 4-5 round groups. Target #2 for the Wildcat were 2 shots, target #9 for the Zelos was 3 shots.

Shot two magazine from the Crown MK2 this morning. The first was standing off of a tank trap, the second was prone. I seemed to have cleaned out a bit too much lead as I had a drop in my zero, requiring a .1 adjustment to get it back to normal shooting standards. (The yellow highlight indicates pre-adjustment drop after the first two shots prone)
