What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

Just sighted in the U'dot on my new Crosman 1701P at 10M. Shot this target offhand at 25 yards to fine tune the dot. Moved it a few clicks left and up. Shooting the RWS Meisterk 7.0 at 466 fps. About 40 shots.

I went to the Yolo Rifle Range with a rifle I cannot specify (GTA didn’t like it either)here.
I shot projectiles I cannot specify either.
But I shot 10 of them (one magazine) at around 1200fps.
50 yards, 16X; off the bench; with Harris bipod:

The bipod bit me:

I shot the P3 pistol indoors (awful weather outside). A sheet of 5 bullseyes for each shooting hand, front sandbag on a bin, indicated that left and right are roughly equally proficient. Scores converted to % were 95% for left hand and 94% for right hand. Other days it might be the opposite. I don't care as long as they're about the same over the long term. But my indoor distance is only 17' muzzle to target.

Three 5 shot alternate grouping shots (excluding 1 flyer) at 50 yards using my FX Panthera 700mm STX Superior Liner, Philippine made 23gr slug samples, ACCU-TAC FC-4 G2 bipod and Protektor rabbit ear rear bag.

Shot standing and not looking through the scope.

Excellent shooting, those are special groups with slugs @ 50yds!

Nice shooting
Thanks Tim 👍

. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Just for fun!

Try to make a 5 shot group at a minimum of 50 yards without looking through the scope by covering the ocular lens with a tissue paper or something right before you make your first shot.

I did mine at 55+ yards from the firing line or 56.2 yards using my laser range finder from where I was seated.

FX Panthera 700mm STX Superior liner, JSB 25.39gr unsorted, Vector Optics Sentinel X scope, ACCU-TAC FC-4 G2 bipod and Protektor rabbit ear rear bag.

Turret, lab jack, machinist vise or if you want, you can weld your rifle on the table or cement it on the wall Is allowed. 🤣

@TheAirgunnero , we do something similar that we call “Heads Up” shooting. We will look through the scope and adjust the rifle for the expected POI and then hold our head up and watch the flags for the condition we want and when that condition presents itself, we break the shot.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the past 7 years. The problem most of the time is our very wobbly makeshift benches since we don’t have any formal shooting ranges when we go around our island and other islands as well when there are tournaments.
