What other vendors accept Bitcoin?

While I will never have Bitcoin remember, it's about what something is worth to others. A dollar bill is only worth what the person that is willing to accept it for services or a product. When you check your bank balance it's just ones and zeros. The actual amount doesn't change but it's value does and it's been going down since it came into being.

Well the average person doesn't understand that.

They certainly don’t make it obvious!

Maybe they need further incentives…

The only incentive is monetary for most. What they need to know is "Is it worth my time to add this xyz payment method to my system?" In this case, unless more people want to use it as a form of payment, they won't bother.

Unless they see the benefit, see the potential, and go in, that's pretty much the only incentive they have, do people want to use it.
