What new feature would it take...

...to get you to buy? The Crown is cool and the Impact too and now there's the new Wolverine R and Red Wolf. All of them are very impressive but I already own 4 PCPs and they all move .22 cal. pellets from point A to B accurately. I'm not a competition shooter and I seldom take a shot much beyond 50 yards so for my purposes, mainly target shooting and pesting, the guns I already own fill the bill. But I'm still tempted.

I get the impression that many people here are in the same boat. Sure the newest guns are appealing but would any of them make a noticeable difference, besides the wow factor of a new gun? I can just hear my wife saying as I unwrap the new rifle, "What does that gun do that the other's don't?"

Easy answer but wont hold my breath on production....

Semi auto! Now dont think its already there.... Reliable self loading from a system that holds and shoots 100 pellets, not 8. AND in a system that takes less time to load than shoot. AND maintains at least ‘magazine accuracy’ shot to shot over the all 100. I hear less about SS verses mags these days but i still wont use a marauder type mag... (hate them).

Of course this in only likely in smaller calibers but that’s what I shoot most of the time.

Get "involved" in competition. There is a lot at stake here buddy: Justification, new toys, camaraderie, and who knows, you might enjoy it. For instance I "needed" a .25 cal gun to compete at 100 yard silhouette competition. Turns out I really did. Worked for me. Now, if the State of Texas will do the right thing.....

I don't think I buy a new car because of the new features. My old car and my new car both get me from point A to point B.

Bling and accessories are the answer. Maybe a custom stock or hamster by Rowan Engineering or RAW,or a new scope,ect.

I second the semi auto feature. I just bought an impact - but would trade up this week if there was a semi auto that was good out of the box.

different guns are better at different purposes. Some guns excel at 75 and 100 yard bench, some at hunting, some at Field Target,some at 10 meter, some at more than one, but some are highly specialized. For me to change guns, it'll probably require me to add an activity that another gun will work better at. For what I do now, my guns work well.
