What models should I be looking at?

I've never shot or owned a PCP but I'm narrowing my field by reading threads on forums and watching a plethora of videos. I think I've finally come up with what I think is a complete list of criteria:

1. Not a single shot - I plan on using this for hunting/pesting and I want to follow up quickly if need be
2. .25 caliber - Admittedly overkill for most of what I'll be doing, squirrels, birds, etc but I do have some leads on coyotes and pigs and want to be able to tackle that if possible. (Ok, I've reconsidered and edited this to say that I will probably get a .22 as .25 is painting me in a tighter corner of availability and is also costlier, takes more air, etc.)
3. Adjustable power - Run it low for closer and smaller pests, run it higher for farther and bigger pests. I know I'll need to spend lots of time with the gun learning how those changes affect the scope.
4. Quiet - I want to use it in my backyard.
5. Ready out of the box - I am not a machinist or gun smith and beyond end user adjustments via a screw, etc. I am not looking for a 'project'.
6. Cheap - Perfectly prepared to purchase used to help save a bit because I know the gun is potentially only half the cost when it comes to PCP's and their support gear, so we're talking probably around $500-$700 just for the AG, maybe a scope too.

What my research has revealed to me thus far:

1. Synrods and Hatsans certainly meet criteria 1, 2 and 6 but require upgrades to just mange a regulated single shot power let alone multi power range.
2. Sumatra 2500 hits them all, I think, except 4. How much would an aftermarket LDC cost? Fairly easy install?
3. FX looks awesome but even on the used market is above my budget.

What am missing? Any suggestions? I'm more than willing to read.

Benjamin Marauder .25
I have the .22 pistol not the .25, but A LOT of people have these guns and love them. I do. It covers everything on your list except adjustable, sort of...

You can use 2 different allen keys in the back of the gun for the hammer spring and hammer throw and adjust the fps from a low pressure/high shot count to a max of 900fps.
People modify this gun like crazy, there is a whole forum dedicated to it: marauderairrifle.com
But there are a couple very simple mods you can do (swap out the hammer spring for a stiffer one) if you want to increase power right off the bat.
For an LDC call Travis at Wicked Air Rifles. His website doesn't reflect what he has in stock sometimes so just buzz him.
These guns are already pretty quiet... and very accurate.

I do go to marauderairrifle.com from time to time and when looking at the classifieds here and at other sites I don't rule out Mrods but most of them have been modded quite a bit and can get expensive. And then I wonder, who gets an AG, puts all this time and money into it, then moves it on? Did the mods not give them what they were wanting? It's the adjustable power thing that has me looking beyond Hatsan and Benjamin. I did see a guy mod his cylinders for his Hatsan giving him essentially a low power cylinder and a high power cylinder, but I think I'd rather just flip a switch or rotate a dial. ;)

Sumatra, Sumatra,Sumatra.......most underrated gun in the PCP world,

Neil Clague makes a fantastic LDC that screws right on the barrel in seconds.

Sumatras aren't pellet picky and they are accurate with just about anything, power adjuster is fast and easy to use and you can go from Mild to Wild on the fly

Shoot lightweight pellets for you backyard pesting at low power, than shoot the Heavies and even cast bullet at full power for serious hunting.

Great guns !!!!!!

Glengiles: I don't know much about the Sumatra I just wanted to chime in an offer my 2 cents. First i've heard a lot of good things about the Mrod, and my thoughts of why people move on to other guns after investing is they want more. You will find in this hobby no 1 gun will ever suite all of your WANTS, and 2 you get what you pay for. This is your first gun, enjoy learning what it can do and what you can do with it. Most will tell you that most guns out shoot their shooter, but what they don't tell you as you move on to better guns (more expensive / battery quality) they still out shoot you but you shoot them better than the you did the pervious gun. First you are happy hitting apples at 25 -50 yards, then you move up and are happy hitting quarters at 25 -50 yards, then you move up and your goal is often to stack pellets on top of pellets at 25 yards and close to that at 50 yards (5.5 mm holes).
I would recommend .22 cal because of the cost to operate and shot count, it will also do what you want it to do if you do your part. Shot placement is KING not raw power, but that does help. Oh and its quieter than a .25 in the same make and model. I wish you lots of fun in your journey, I welcome you into the fold fellow Airgunner, know that the Dark side is an addictions, one that you will have for a very long time. Look forward to hearing a lot more from you in the future.

I would suggest the Benjamin Marauder rifle in 25. You can purchase one for ca $500 and it will provide you 16 good shoots from a fill using very inexpensive magazines. It will provide more than enough power for the smaller game but adequate for the larger game. It has only one power level but purchasing a gun with multiple easily reproducible power levels will far exceed your budget. I have a number of high end air rifles but refuse to let go of my 25 Marauder which produces ca 2 inch groups at 100 yards with the JSB. 25.4 gr pellet.

Also, I forgot.

The Sumatra .22 (even the Carbine version ) is still more powerful than the vast majority of .25s

And it's even better when shooting at low power because you can use lighter pellets, than at full power with 32gr EunJin or 28gr EunJin it will take anything you want in the bigger game realm.
